I rarely ever come across a match where 90% of the “unskilled” players were on one team, and 90% of the “skilled” players on the other. I don’t even see people claim these games exist, most of the time. Yet once every 100 games, I see one person on the losing team say that EVERY match of TF2 is that unbalanced, and the entire rest of the game agrees. As if all the other 99 balanced games I just played before didn’t exist.

Really, why do people hate casual so much that they only want to remember the times it went wrong? I’m kind of glad quickplay died, I hated that thing so much that I used the server browser exclusively. Now I only do when I wanna play a crazy non-Valve gamemode.

Because when a player breaks the ‘‘be respectful to others players’’ rule, clearly the other guy who tries to get an admin to deal with it is in the wrong, right?

Mann VS. Machine players tends to mix up what is the best and what you need. You don’t need to have 6 hardcore tryhards to beat any mission in Mann VS. Machine. While it’s true that your team needs a minimum of skill and knowledge, knowing your team’s skill level is much more important.

Is anyone else really, REALLY bothered by the fact that the Mann Co. Store sells weapons? They range anywhere from $0.99 to $4.99. You could get 297 weapons for $0.99 if you went through the Steam Community Market (according to calculator.tf) and 1497 weapons for $4.99. Valve is sharking you. I wish I could get a refund on that Your Eternal Reward I bought in 2012. I’d be 16.44 Refined Metal richer if I could. And if I could refund every regular weapon I’ve ever bought through the store and buy Refined Metal with it instead, I’d have 90.33 more Refined Metal than I do right now. I could buy SO many taunts with that, but instead I had to save up for a year of weapon drops to get the Rancho Relaxo!

I’ve left TF2 open for literal hours, and nobody’s playing competitive. What happened? Everyone always says competitive is so great, so I queue up to try it out, and end up waiting for 5 hours. Still haven’t found a game, by the way.

I’ve been playing Titanium Tank a lot lately to get that free medal (which, if you haven’t heard of it, get on that, it’s a free medal for doing a community tour), and usually while we wait for everyone to ready, people just mess around, usually calling each other spies. If I’m playing Pyro, I don’t get class-specific voice commands. No “That Engineer is a Spy” or “That Demoman is a Spy.” Just “That (2 syllables) is a Spy!” with no variation based on who you look at. It irks me. It probably shouldn’t, but it irks me.
