#thank you post

Before the new year come I just wanted to thank everybody that has been supporting my work throughout the year, with likes, reblogs, nice comments, and of course through commissions and patreons, you all really did my year, hope there’s more to come the next

Okay, but like I haven’t posted in over a month, so how?? But also thank you so much. It makes me so happy that wonderful people will continue to interact with my work, even when I don’t have the energy or time that I wish I did to put into it. 

I haven’t been on Tumblr for several months.

And I’m surprised to find that I’d received a lot of comments on my posts during my absence.

Although this post isn’t likely to be seen by those who kindly commented to my drawings, let me say how grateful I am for your kind, encouraging words. Thank you very much!

I try not to pay much attention to the numbers of reactions my artworks receive but to focus on enjoying the process of creating them. And yet it sometimes feels like one-sided love confessions, spending hours drawing them alone. So it is wonderful that you took the time to leave comments. They help keep me going :)

Things have been very difficult for us all due to the pandemic. I hope everyone is safe and well. I’ve never been more grateful that we have the Internet and that I can be relatively happy if I have some good books to read and a pencil and paper to draw on.

I’ll be (hopefully) back with new artworks.
