Made myself a new pfp since I have pink hair now

When I got my booster for my covid vaccine, and i had to take off my winter jacket, two sweatshirts, and my shirt, just so i could get down to my final sweatshirt that i was wearing underneath my regular shirt, which i then had to take off, just so i had a free arm. I have never seen anybody look as confused as this poor girl did, as i took off layer after layer like it was a normal thing

Like many people here, I have been morning the loss of tumblr and how it chronicalled whole relationships and times of my life. It was always so much more than porn for me - it was relationships, love, friendships, community, personal development and a chance to be real with others and real with myself.

So I am feeling a lot of betrayal about it. I’m trying to back it up the best I can and will be moving to a new platform. However, my father is also terminal and we’re hearing “any day now” so my focus has been a little scattered.

If you have screen shots or copies of my captions and writings, please keep them!!! If you have my fetlife I’ll be updating my new blog locations. And I have an email: beggingforpermission at the gmails to keep in touch. Put tumblr: your sn in the heading and I’ll be sure to read it. 

Just sharing a small note to say I’m thankful for all of you. I’ve had this blog for nearly 5 years, and you have all helped me create a space that has become one of my favorite facets of my sexuality.

Because of you, I don’t feel like I’m weird. I don’t feel abnormal. I don’t feel like I’m too much.

I feel cherished. And I feel like I belong.

Allllllllll the love to fic writers right now, past and present. I don’t think I would have slept in the last week without ao3 (all the love to creators and keepers of our own archive!) and a story to calm my brain and remind me of love. Y'all are heroes, and I am endlessly grateful.

8 years ago today I started this blog…

I started by collecting pictures of aesthetics that described my soul and heart, and over just 2 years my community grew from 200 followers to 10,000, and now we are almost 85K

While I have been away for months these last couple of years, finishing university and being stuck at a boring desk job, everytime I come back I realize one beautiful thing:

Everytime I come back here, I feel at home, surrounded by melancholic poetry, dark aesthetics, beauty and mystery. This is how the Tumblr community that I created together with all of you makes me feel. I don’t feel like that often in real life.

I missed this feeling and I missed all of you so much.

Thank you everyone for sticking with me throughout all these years, sharing beauty with me and supporting this blog. I hope it makes you feel as happy as it make me.

My favourite films of the decade. (2010-19)

Here are some good things that happened to me today:

A child told me she liked my hair.

I made several jokes that I personally laughed very hard at.

My skirt has pockets and it swishes when I walk.

My new eyeshadow palette was only $6 and is VERY sparkly.

Nothing big happened, but a dozen little things happened that made me smile. I just had to look for them.

I hope you all find something good that happened to you today. Even if it’s just a chuckle in your own joke, I hope you find some happiness.

Family! I cannot tell you how much I’ve missed you! There’s just no way to explain the heaviness I’ve felt from not posting and not being with you guys more.

Sadly, it’s not completely over yet, but I’m getting closer! I have started posting Blood Ain’t LoveonPatreon again, so I’m hoping that I’ll be able to start posting on here again real soon.

I just wanted to pop in and say hi and let you know that I am getting closer to giving you content again. I’m grateful for every single one of you and I love you all so much!

Hope everyone is having a good beginning to their 2022!

I want to greatly apologize for the pure radio silence on my end {I feel terrible as I didn’t even get on to wish you all a Happy New Year}, but I have finally been able to steal a few seconds to get on and update you all.

Unfortunately, due to some poor health issues I have been struggling with everyday life and it has left me zero time and energy to focus on any writing. I wish it was different, but sadly I just keep getting dealt crap hands. I promise that I have not given up and eventually I will be able to pour my heart and soul back into my stories. {Something I have desperately missed} But it is with a heavy heart that I’m just not sure when that will be exactly. It could be soon, or it could be a few more months. I wish I had the answer, but I don’t.

But anyway, I’ll be done with my cry session and leave you to all the other amazing writers on here.

As always, I love you all with my entire heart and though I might be quiet on here, I think about you all constantly. I’ll check back again when I can.

Wow yeah, it’s been a long time again. Life’s really giving me a kick in the teeth lately, so I barely get chance to go on my Mac at all, and my tumblr on my phone is bloody awful.

I will be getting this started up again, but atm my major Bat-Life is going out on twitter.

I’ve created a twitter account for that too, but barely used it, so I’m debating using that to post alongside this because the twitter app on my phone is a lot easier to use and quick to post, so I could still throw some things in there :) ‘cause I wanna keep this site going for you guys, 'cause some of you have been so supportive on here, and it’s been so nice meeting all you fellow Batfans.

On my Twitter I’ve just started a #PickoftheWeek tag, where I’m going to post a photo of my 'Pick’ that I stick in the plastic wallet behind the till at work (If some of you guys don’t know, I work at my local comic shop) and now I’m debating whether to continue it on here so I can also elaborate as to why it’s my pick.

As I’ve stated on my Twitter, about 90% of the picks will be Bat-Titles. I’ve had to majorly cut back my comic buyings for financial reasons, but I always buy Bat-Titles so they haven’t cut down so much :)
