“The Dreamer” by The Tallest Man On Earth
If there is any artist I have been wanting to blog about for a long time, it’s The Tallest Man On Earth, otherwise known as Kristian Matsson. Commonly compared to Bob Dylan - this Swedish artist really knows how to caress his guitar, whilst belting out raw, poetic tunes.
Not one to love the spotlight, The Tallest Man On Earth carries a certain mystery. We don’t know much about Kristian other than his music - which adds a certain significance and a greater pulchritude to his sound.
He is rightfully crowned The King Of Spain - which is evident in his music.
I chose to blog about “The Dreamer”, as it stands out from the rest of the songs on “The Wild Hunt”, and I have a personal connection to the lyrics. My favourite line would have to be: “just enough dark to see how you’re the light over me.” Sometimes the difficult times in life make you realise how amazing some individuals are. The hard times create a contrast between loving individuals and pessimism. People can be your light, your hope and your guidance.
