End of 2019 in our membership club The F.A.Mily we had our weekly session (happens every Wednesday) I tasked everyone to send to me their plan for their business for he next 6 months. Can you believe Saturday marks the beginning of february already! So i had the members planning ahead and reviewed these goals and we check back in over the next 6 months.
i wonder if there is more to it than him takin umbrage @ a SUPER oblique & encrypted fixfic in the form of a happier endin for LEON | THE PROFESSIONAL ,
or if he also thinks that he is the only one allowed to reinterpret the story of the maid of orleans
& is also pissed off that nobody appreciates his sublime artistic endeavors eg the horrible reviews that THE MESSENGER got when it came out
& also how his recent attempted biopic of aung san suu kyi THE LADY was panned as a failure as biography DESPITE michelle yeohs acting being praised GOOD ACTING NOT ENF TO SALVAGE BAD DIRECTING is the eternal lesson
but when i see that he – just like ridley scott , just like michael bay – made a weird “arty” low budget little crime flick w a big name cast
, that turned out to be awful & incomprehensible AND like scotts to have a major point of overlap w NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN but also to have so many points of congruence w other films , visually & in terms of degrees-of-separation via casting , & also via name magicsymbolism
that all are in some way connected w del toro films
that it is no longer a question to me if the PROMETHEUS “bandage underwear / running down the hall scn” was a deliberate or an accidental resemblance to 5TH ELEMENT also not a question if it was a swipe or an homage

just like scott homaged BAYFORMERS in the yellow sports car scn in COUNSELOR
he homaged besson in PROMETHEUS

They did such a great job!! I love Agron’s performance here, she’s going wild and try to take off her alter ego of Quinn Fabray on Glee. Maybe, she’s the one of Glee alumnus who success off the show. De Niro & Pfeiffer completely outstanding, D'Leo tried to stable his acting with the others but i think it’s quite good.

A simple movie that entertain and worth enough to watch. Funny enough, but i don’t really know why on the international premiere, they used “Malavita” title, since the title took from the family’s dog. :/
