I think my copy of Daggerfall has becomed possessed!

I’m doing my first full playthrough in Daggerfall Unity (only done a full campaign in the Vanilla DOS version before) and when I got to the point of leaving Scourg Barrow for Wayrest, things went downhill quickly.

First, every court noble in Castle Wayrest were completely absent, no matter how much time I gave them to reappear. Then when I loaded back the same save, they returned, but now Princess Morgiah speaks with the voice of Mannimarco…

Nothing I can do changes this outcome and progresses Main Quest, and I know this isn’t how the story goes… It really feels like the necromancers killed everyone the castle and then took their place. All hail the Princess of Worms!
