In a week of super bad takes all across this great internet of ours, I read that Ariana Grande thing in INTO because someone I like and who posts good things usually shared the article. IT WAS NOT GOOD.
What a week! I’m SO glad it’s Friday and I can go home in an 75 minutes with at least the dream of being able to chill out. It was a busy week, but I did manage to read a bunch, so lucky you! Enjoy!

I’m not linking it because, let’s be real, as if I would, but I did read that Lena Dunham profile when I could’ve been more productive and repeatedly stabbed myself in the eye.
So, another week, another list of things I read. There are a few pieces I was saving to read this week, but then I died twice, which cut into my reading time. Nevertheless, I did manage to read some stuff.
Honestly, thank god this week is over. I am so ready to spend a good percent of my long weekend in toasty pjs watching Chris Pine’s new Netflix movie. Perhaps I will even watch a certain scene a number of times.
So, I read some stuff this week and because I am such a kind and giving human, I am sharing some of them with you. When I die, please tell people how gracious I was.
I know I complained when work was slow about not having anything to do, but now that it’s busy and I have less time for reading non-work related things, I’m finding so many things I want to read. But also I’m finding that all I want to do is nap when I leave the office, so, make of that what you will.

I feel like I’ve aged 40 years in 5 days. The beginning of the week I had time to read stuff, the kind of time where I felt like I could make a tiny dent in my “to read” list, and suddenly it’s Friday and I’ve had approximately 6000 emails and 2000 phone calls today alone (and it’s only 11:13 am–I answered my last call “good afternoon,” because it feels like 1 pm…
What is even happening? I’m writing three weeks in a row? And I know I can’t ~really~ claim this as writing because I’m hardly writing. There is this little blurb and then a bunch of links, but considering how little I’ve written lately, this is a lot, and I intend to do more, so this is like wading into the pool and adjusting to the temperature of the water before I delve into the deep end.
