Salon de Princesse is yet another ostentatiously decorated rococo era salon. The real salon can be found at Hotel de Soubise in Paris, which was built for François, Prince of Soubise and his wife in 1704.
The game does not allow for the kind of curves and levels as the original boiserie has, but I recreated it as best I could using some bits from Versailles, some from the hotel itself and some out of @cliffou29 ‘s previous work.
The boiserie comes in 6 panels, all depicting the story of Psyche and Cupid, and the room itself can be found on the gallery in both its glory days and as a decaying version.
A huge thank you @the-regal-sim @cliffou29 @felixandresims @harrie-cc @thejim07 @anachrosims @themarblemortal @historicalsimslife @strangestorytellersims for their amazing CC!
Danbury House
The exterior is based off of Holburne Museum as seen in the Netflix series Bridgerton. If you’ve seen the show you will see I tried to replicate the interior to reflect as closely to the show’s set design as possible. Gosh I don’t know how many times I watched Season 2 Episode 5 to get it as perfect as possible!
I love, love, love, LOOOOOVE how the gardens turned out and the ballroom and staircase have to be my favorite interior rooms. She is now available on the Gallery for download. Please see the link bellow with the full cc list.
I wanted to redo the Empire themed curtains I made a year ago and wanted to add a few new swatches as well, but it turned into a whole set of 4 recolored objects:
The set has a huge variation of swatches, the curtains alone have 66 swatches and most are present for the canopy and the bed, so beware that the files are pretty big.
A huge thanks to @matt1sims4blog who helped me cull some of the swatches and took the time to take those beautiful pictures, showcasing the swatches.
I am planning to recolor some matching sofas & chairs as well as add the shorter version of the curtain but just didn’t have time right now.
