Salon de Princesse is yet another ostentatiously decorated rococo era salon. The real salon can be found at Hotel de Soubise in Paris, which was built for François, Prince of Soubise and his wife in 1704.
The game does not allow for the kind of curves and levels as the original boiserie has, but I recreated it as best I could using some bits from Versailles, some from the hotel itself and some out of @cliffou29 ‘s previous work.
The boiserie comes in 6 panels, all depicting the story of Psyche and Cupid, and the room itself can be found on the gallery in both its glory days and as a decaying version.
Back when I created my version of Hotel Beauharnais, I made a Limestone interior set out of @felixandresims CC but made them pretty hastily, so some items looked like they were made of play-doh. Iv now redone the textures and given the set the facelift it deserved.
The Original set had 21 pieces, and this updated one has 36. (Please replace the old files)
In 1830, the Duke of Aumale, one of the eight children of the king, Louis Philippe d’Orléans, inherited the estate at 8, after its rightful heir was shot by a firing squad on Napoleon’s orders.
This is the third set for my Château de Chantilly series, the first set can be found HERE.This time I tackled Salon de Condé, which was the Dukes fuchsia damask draped office.
The set has 1 wallpaper and 7 objects, all of which are displayed below in detail.
The set come with a recolored version of @felixandresims Paris door, Georgian Pediment, Victorian loveseat as well as a Victorian armchair. All of which can be found on his Patreon, HERE
The set also includes @thejim07 Armchair with fringe and a portrait collection. Which can be found HEREandHERE
I also added a little photography frame with pictures of the Dukes family, the original mesh can be found HERE. (It is the same mesh I used in my Romanov Paintings set)
I recently stated to actually play the game again after a long time and wanted to have a 18th century inspired playthrough and felt I was lacking in dress options for my ladies, so I made quick recolors of @acanthus-sims dress.
I was working on a version of Chateau de Chantilly and realized i needed some new Louis XVI style furniture, and one thing led to another. But here you go, a mixed bag of Louis XVI style furniture.
Note: If you download Mio’s mesh you only need to download the package once, as it’s a merged package a few different meshes.
If you have any questions or problems just pm me and ill get back to you asap! Enjoy!!
Hôtel de la Marine is a incredible building in Paris, and was built between the 1757 and 1774. The building has housed many things, and up until 2015 it belonged to the French navy, hence the name.
I started building a version of Hotel de la Marine in the sims and created these portraits of French Navy admirals which are displayed on the boiserie in one of the main galleries (My portraits are actually just random military looking dudes)
But i thought maybe someone else might also want some admirals in their palaces.
The mesh is a edit of Felixandres mirror, but it should be included in this download. If not please message me and ill fix it.
A few weeks ago i got a request to create a wallpaper that would mach that of Salon Doré, found in the French presidential palace- Palais de l'Elyseée.
While I couldn’t find matching motifs, I still think this cherub- trellis look works just as well.
The boiserie comes in 4 different pieces but only one swatch for now.
The wallpaper set is in early access for 2 weeks, but you know the drill with me: If u don’t like waiting and have a shit paying job like I do, just message me and ill send u a link.
My Art nouveau journey has come to a close for now, I will still finish the villa that inspired all of this but I will not be creating any more art nouveau inspired objects. (you will need realm of magic for the sofas)
Art Nouveau Part II: Arte Nova Tiles [Warning: flashing images]
Part II out of III of my Art Nouveau obsession is here, and this part is all about colorful tiles, all of which were inspired by the incredible Art Nouveau architecture found in Portugal.
There are two different wallpapers
|Arte Nova Lotus Waves, which comes in 9 swatches and can be found under the tiles category
|Arte Nova Psycedellic Tiles, which comes in 14 swatches and can also be found under the tiles category.
Hope you have fun decorating with these batshit Art Nouveau tiles, and keep an eye out of the last part, which I can hopefully get done by the end of the week.
I wanted to redo the Empire themed curtains I made a year ago and wanted to add a few new swatches as well, but it turned into a whole set of 4 recolored objects:
The set has a huge variation of swatches, the curtains alone have 66 swatches and most are present for the canopy and the bed, so beware that the files are pretty big.
A huge thanks to @matt1sims4blog who helped me cull some of the swatches and took the time to take those beautiful pictures, showcasing the swatches.
I am planning to recolor some matching sofas & chairs as well as add the shorter version of the curtain but just didn’t have time right now.
