It’s autism acceptance month and in honor of that, here are some things to remember.
It’s acceptance, not awareness
No two are the ssme
Autism speaks is a hate group
Stimming in public isn’t weird until neurotypical people make it that way
Passing most of the time is different from faking
It doesn’t make us dumb
Those who are not verbal have just as much room to talk as everyone else
