Another rewatch, another detail:
Look at how he looks at her just before he starts coughing up the blood. He knows he’s just killed himself - he felt it (what? Electro shock? Still unclear) go through his body.
So he’s just looking at her for a moment before he goes, almost like “well, this is it for me. She’s okay, though. She’ll be okay.” And then he starts to hemorrhage.
This brave, devoted idiot. I love him so much.

I just finished a rewatch and spotted this, and I don’t know WHY I find it so adorable that he’s using a box of medical gloves as a pillow, but god knows I do.
One has to assume that they have pillows on the Zephyr. I don’t remember if we’ve confirmed that they have sleeping quarters, but even commercial planes have travel pillows. He could have gotten up at any point and said, “Hey, Enoch, do you know where I could get a pillow?”
But no, he didn’t want to leave her for one second so he literally just grabbed a box of medical gloves from the supplies next to him and rested his head on that. This soft and sweet and stupid man. I adore him.

Okay I haven’t seen anyone talk about this interaction yet but LOOK. AT. HIM. Look at how his face instantly lights up with this mixture of happiness and soft concern when he sees she’s up and about.
I am DEAD with these two.

Y’all, it’s been a damn tough year for me. But this sweet romance between two of my favorite MCU characters has been a little bit of balm. Thanks for celebrating with me and falling for Dousy/Sousy/Daisysous/Quakersquares/TimeQuake too.
Let’s all hope they get the happy ending they deserve ❤️

You know what I love most about this scene obviously other than absolutely everything?
I believe Sousa. I don’t think he had any “intentions” up to that point. He met this very impressive, very cool, very fun woman who he had promised to run backup for, then she got captured and tortured on his watch, and so he made it his mission to get her home and watch over her and take care of her however he could while she recovered.
And during that time of COURSE he started falling for her because who wouldn’t? She’s brave and capable and powerful and righteous, and he’s known people (and especially women) like that, and he knows how cruel the world can be to them. And the more he finds out about her past, the more he has that confirmed.
So he continues to stay by her side and be there for her and maybe lets himself fall for her a little bit. But not for ONE SECOND does he presume that she feels the same, or try to push romance onto her. Even Time Loop Sousa didn’t broach the conversation until she asked for honesty, didn’t kiss back until she kissed first.
I think he’s telling the truth; he didn’t have any “intentions”. He wasn’t being the way he was being to gain her affections; that’s just how he is. He wasn’t doing the things he was doing to get her to like him, or to make her feel that she owed him; he just wanted to do things for her. He just wanted to support her and care for her and back her up because that’s what she deserved. That’s why he looks so genuinely surprised here:
He didn’t have any intentions, but now that he knows that his feelings might actually be reciprocated, well? He got some, and quick.
Basically, I loved these scenes, I love this ship, I love these two for each other, and next week will undoubtedly wreck me. Thank you for attending my TED talk.

I really hope that in the future we get a spin-off series of Timequake and their adventures, or even Deke being in charge of SHIELD (or both, both is good)
Is it too much to ask that AoS end with Daisy being happy for once? She’s been through so much, just let her and Danny boy have their happy ending
So I’m re-watching AoS S1 and it just hit me that every previous boyfriend Daisy had was filling a “teacher role” in their relationship:
- There’s the hacker of whom she says “You taught me everything I know about hacking.”
- There’s Ward who was her S.O training her to be a SHIELD Agent.
- And there’s Lincoln who taught her how to deal and feel comfortable with her powers.
I’m really glad they’ve broken this questionable pattern with Sousa.
