Summary: It is Back-to-School season! Dad!Bucky is working on making a friend, which Sarah fully supports. But who is his new friend Perry? And what do these two get up to on a Tuesday night after work?

Sarah could hear Bucky and Cass in the small single bathroom as she waited her turn.
“You do it like this, buddy,” Bucky said.
“I tried that Bucky, but that feels weird.”
“Lots of things do, the first time.”
There was a spritz noise, then a yelp of pain from both of them.
“My eyes!” whined Cass.
“Yeah, not like that, buddy,” coughed Bucky.
Sarah stifled a laugh and decided she would arrange her hair in the half-bath downstairs. AJ was sitting at the dining room table, fidgeting.
“What’s up little man?” Sarah checked on her younger boy.
“Why does Cass get to have Uncle Bucky go to Back to School night with him?” asked AJ.
“I’m no fun, huh?” she knelt in front of him.
“You’re fun, Ma, but e’ryone already knows you!” he exclaimed. “Cass don’t even like Uncle Buck like that.”
So much goodness in this fic. My favorite things are the conversation over hot wings and beer, and the foray into the outskirts of Delacroix. But the whole thing is a delight.
