Traveler, looking at the reports Ghost sends in: What do you mean when the earth gets in the way of the Sun it turns the moon red and nothing happens?! That sounds made up!
Ghost,sighing: sir, You and I both watched the same Eclipse.
Traveler, still annoyed: It has to mean something though! It can’t just be as lame as this!?
Ghost: You do know that there is a time where the moon covers the sun in a solar eclipse?
Traveler, hurling a metaphysical desk: BULLSHIT!
Ghost, worried: Uh, hey Guardian, What’s an total lunar eclipse? The traveler said there was going to be one tonight.
Guardian, flipping through the handwritten manual: Hold on… oh! Total Lunar Eclipses happen when the earth gets in the way of the sun and light filters through this atmosphere, not sure what that means, and reflects on the Moon.
Ghost, sighs in relief: Oh good. He made it seem that there was something going to hatch on the Moon.
Guardian, sighing: If something other than our enemies is up there, don’t you think we would know?
This is the Lunar Eclipse of May 15th, 2022!
As the Earth’s shadow covers the Moon, it appears to disappear into darkness. This is just one of 85 lunar eclipses that will occur in the 21st century. If you missed this one, don’t worry! The next total lunar eclipse will occur on November 8th, 2022. ✨
