So I saw that Shiori is going to appear in yashahime soon (which really surprised me) and back in November I made this whole headcanon story for how I imagined Shiori could show up in the show and I wanted to color it before I posted it but school has been kicking my butt. So here ya go!
Soon after inu gang leaves shiori wants to commemorate her father and inuyasha who left quite the impact on her life
She decides to make some jewlery using broken pieces from half the crystal and some rope.
She originally thought there was no more power in the crystal when there actually was
She realizes this one day when shes in danger and a barrier forms around her & her braclets start to glow and defy gravity
Fast forward shiori is older now and she notices some people on the beach one day…
So Shiori has been noticing as of recent that some of kirinmaru’s people have been coming ashore to feast on nearby villages
Shiori has been able to conceal herself and her mothers home but there isnt much she can do about the villages
She tells the girls this and they want to stick around till nightfall (when kirnmarus guys show up) to help and maybe get a lead
(I was thinking that Shiori maybe tells moroha about her dad in the meantime but don’t have a drawing for that)
Shiori conceals the girls using her now honed jewlery barrier powers to sneak up on kirinmaru’s men
Long story short the girls beat them up but one gets away which leads to them borrowing Shiori’s boat
And as parting gift shiori gives them the other half of the crystal
Phew! That was long I am no writer so the story is very straight forward and one note but, hey I had fun
I orginally made this after ep 5 but I just got around to coloring it. Moroha said she’d be out for a day after becoming Beniyasha someone had to take her back to the village.
- I don’t know how to feel about Riku anymore. At first my writer brain told me he was gonna be a bad guy. But now I’m thinking, “is he going to be morally grey guy?”
- When they first placed both Kirimaru and Riku in the same scene I caught the similarities between the two of them. They are similar Physically and personality wise. At first I thought that Riku was his son (possibly half demon) , but I am not so sure I was off completely.
-The interaction between them reminded me of the relationship between Naraku and Kagura. It’s possible that Riku was created from him in the same way.
- Or is his relationship like Naraku and the Infant????
-Riku described his previous master as a different being than what we see. He has memories of kirinmaru being a someone who stopped to admire the present beauty of the world. We are seeing a different perspective from Towa and Setsuna.
- Riku told Towa that Kirinmaru basically threw him away. Why?
- if they kill Kirinmaru will Riku die?
-Also when did Kirinmaru get the Shikon jewel? Was he there for when it was created?
-Is there a connection between Midoriko and him? Romantic? Rival? Or did he just conveniently have it?
-they have no business making Kirinmaru good looking. Making me question my loyalty to Sesshomaru.
- towa knows about her mom now and idk how to feel
- wtf Towa don’t just give it to him!
- omg those two are actually kind of cute. (Towa and Riku)
- Hisui has a crush on Setsuna and you cannot convince me otherwise
