Gif 2: Flashback to 1947 in the desert at night, season 1 episode 3. Tripp, dressed in period Army fatigues, moves slowly forward with his right arm outstretched holding a pistol. His finger is on the trigger and he is focused intently forward, his mouth moves as he gives orders to the men behind him (off screen). The text reads “and I was I”.
