Not only was TRON: Uprising a formative experience for me as an artist, it was also a Disney XD cartoon with an inherent anti-fascist rhetoric, even in spite of the narrative’s shortcomings. It’s a series where an ordinary protagonist takes on the mantle of a superhero, destroys a giant statue of a villainous figurehead, and rescues citizens from unjust imprisonment, only to be labeled as a terrorist by the antagonists in order to de-legitimize his movement.

Lockdown’s voice actor voices a bad dude in Tron:Uprising and I’m sincerely grateful that Lockdown doesn’t have General Tesler’s glow-and-grow hand abilities. But I’m sure there’s a mod for that.
By the way I’m going to write a fanfiction about #reed900 in Tron universe, if you are interested in, join my VK group (https://vk.com/club133548760) or follow my instagram account (@katesceneart) for news and announcements!
prompted by some textpost. love that tron is the mentor in their dynamic, but beck is still somehow the slightly more responsible one of the two of them.
