It’s hard to get used to this different Xiao Hua (but i still like him). He just feels so different… but also of course a bit the same since no matter what actor is playing him he’s always Hua. But the other Hua played by Liu Xue Yi definitely gave off a more dangerous vibe than this one. Like, you could totally believe he brought the Xie family under his control despite everyone else vying to be the head and numerous attempts on his life. I liked that one better, he seemed to have that balance being chinese opera-singer Xiao Hua and big boss you don’t want to cross Xie Yuchen. This Hua has skills too but also seems a bit more… princessy? and willing to throw his money around for even the smallest reason (which is really funny when you throw our greedy raccoon Hei Xiazi into the mix ofc). Also don’t get me started on how this Wu Xie and Xiao Hua haven’t actually seen each other since they were kids and so have no relationship as adults…Wu Xie actually thought Hua was a girl the whole time, they literally know nothing about each other i’m in mourning. Give me best-buddies TLT2 HuaXie back ;-;
