I’ve been told that portrait Vulcans as green skinned can be hurtful for cultural reasons related to Nazi/antisemitic propaganda.

PSA - Delete any asks you receive about “joyofsatan.org!”
We’ve been through the “Gold Star Lesbian” spam asks, as well as the amegaotaku/rekka007 ones, and it seems that the new copypasta spam ask everyone is receiving is one where people are asked what they think of Joyofsatan.org, claiming them to be “the largest Satanist organization in the world.”
These asks are mostly sent to users who frequently talk about the occult and/or witchcraft, feminist bloggers, and Jewish users, with the message slightly altered for each person it’s sent to. Here are the two most common variations of the ask:
“What do you think of Joyofsatan.org? They claim to follow the Pagan Goddess Lilith/Lalitha, they’re pro-choice and they’re the largest Satanist group in the world.” <- This one also occasionally includes “they support women’s rights” after “they’re pro-choice.” This also seems to be the most commonly sent ask.
“What do you think of Joyofsatan.org? They claim to follow the Sumerian God Enki-Satan and they’ve become the largest Satanist group in the world.”
Although these asks are usually sent on anon, they’re also sent by the burner account 88643468, presumably to bypass anyone who has anon asks turned off, so I suggest blocking that account, especially if you have anon asks turned off.
Now, the reason you should delete these asks, instead of engaging, is because the Joy of Satan Ministries in question is a Neo-Nazi group, as detailed on the Wikipedia page I just linked, and these asks appear to be a recruiting tactic, going by the types of users most commonly spammed with the asks, and how the asks are re-worded depending on who they’re sent to; instead of a singular copypasta that gets sent to everyone, it’s variations of the copypasta that are each targeted towards a different demographic.
The people sending these asks want you and your followers to go to the Joy of Satan website, so that it gains more traffic and, of course, to suck people into their white supremacist cult.
So please, please, don’t engage, just delete the asks and block the 88643468 account, and if someone you follow answers one of these asks, urge them to delete their post and to block the 88643468 account for extra measure. Right now is also a good time to disable anonymous asks, or even take it a step further and only allow asks from people you follow, just in case 88643468 isn’t the only burner account.

Edit: They do in fact have another burner account; please block jezebel-tarot. Also, as many people have pointed out and I myself noticed while typing this out, the other burner account’s URL starts with “88” which is a Neo-Nazi dogwhistle.
They are also targeting the following groups:
- Hindu users, now claiming that JoS is “the largest Hindu group” and claiming to follow Shiva in an attempt to attract them.
- Black users, attempting to attract them to the site by talking about Blacks for Satan and ATRs.
- Catholic users and Christian users, unsurprisingly, no doubt to get hateclicks as traffic to their website, and “debate” from the person receiving the ask.
- Atheist users, probably with the same intent of getting hateclicks and “debate.”
- In general, they seem to target anyone who follows any religion, again no doubt to get “debate” out of them.
Speaking of how these people are trying to bait others into “debating” them, here is one of the four lovely asks I received just this morning, which I’ve noticed other people also receive this specific ask after telling these bastards to fuck off for being white supremacists:

What it would forget were the lives that were lost in the fight, of the good people who defended their beliefs – staring into the barrels of guns and tanks that were pointed their way. What it would forget how Italy was at war with the world and at war with itself.
History would remember the city of Verona.
Verona would remember the people of the city.
They defended what buildings were left of their city like wolves defending their dens. There was not a single building that remain untouched. The wounds of the war were apparent in collapsed roofs and fallen walls, in empty spaces and spaces filled with piles of rocks that had once been buildings. In the center of the city remained the one stronghold that all were able to take refuge and gather. It had once been a hotel, a sanctuary that no gun would be able to enter. But such rules are rarely respected in times of war.
But it was still a sanctuary to all those who respected the rules – for blood had been spilled upon its doorstep because they defended it so ardently. Though bullets were lodged in its walls, no German or fascist gun had ever passed through its doorway. For this and for the victory the Allies had won in Verona’s sister city, Bologna, they thought it fit to celebrate.
That was why, on the night of April 24th, the rebels of Italy danced to the American music playing on their one radio and dined on the stolen fascist food.
And they drank for all those who would be forgotten.
ASSIGNMENT: All characters are part of the rebel forces. They have survived the war and fought for Verona – or, at the very least, fought to survive in Verona. WRITE your character’s World War II biography (they may be as long or as short as you want, and can be in para or bullet form). Be as creative as you want! Give them a new story! Shape them into something new! Or think about how your character might have reacted and changed being involved in the war at that time. Feel free to CREATE new connections with new characters that you’ve always wanted to explore, which is plausible as all characters will be fighting on the same side.

SUMMARY: The war is nearing its end and the taste of victory is in the air for Italy. They mourn amidst their celebration, but they need to celebrate because the end is near. Everyone is gathered in the ballroom of their headquarters, the Hotel Vittoria (which will later be called Hotel Emelia) to celebrate. Much of the third floor has fallen in because of the force of the bombs, but the second and first floor are usable.

Criticizing Joss Whedon’s problematic writing choices does not translate to hate.
Also, word of advice, if you want people to stop accusing you of being racist or sexist, then you might want to stay away from the following:
- Having the lead female protagonist of your show almost raped by her love interest and then have the showrunner praise the rapist as being his favorite character and having the best character development (Spike, Buffy the Vampire Slayer)
- Plan to have a prostitute gang raped to feed into the character development of her male love interest (Inara, Firefly)
- Have a show that heavily features Asian culture and religions, but then fail to cast any Asian actors (Firefly)
- Claim that having Asian actors was unnecessary because one of your white actors “kind of looked Asian.” (Summer Glau, Firefly)
- Fire your lead actress for getting pregnant and then spend the next season shitting all over her character (Charisma Carpenter, Angel)
- Inviting that lead actress to come back to the show, promising her that she’ll stick around until the final episode, only to turn around and kill her character off at the last moment as revenge (Charisma Carpenter, Angel)
- Creating the single most racist depiction of a black female character by making her violent, savage, animalistic and so dumb that she isn’t even able to speak, and then reveal that the way she became the first slayer, was by having a group of old men force a demon into her body without her consent (The First Slayer, Buffy the Vampire Slayer)
- Have one of the most popular female superheroes referred to as a “cunt” by the main villain (Natasha Romanoff, Avengers)
- Claim that because a female character was unable to have children, that she was considered a monster (Natasha Romanoff, Avengers: Age of Ultron)
- Taking one of the strongest female superheroes in the MCU and turning her into an outlet for her male love interest to pour his man angst all over and then completely dump her in the end without any expression of gratitude for all she did for him (Natasha Romanoff, Avengers: Age of Ultron)
- Have one of the most popular superheroes in the MCU joke about raping women (Tony Stark, Avengers: Age of Ultron)
- Feature two characters who were originally of Jewish-Romani descent and then have them whitewashed by hiring white actors to play them (Wanda Maximoff and Pietro Maximoff, Avengers: Age of Ultron)
- Having two Jewish-Romani characters volunteer for a Nazi organization, despite the fact that Jewish and Romani people were victims of the Holocaust (Wanda Maximoff and Pietro Maximoff, Avengers: Age of Ultron)
- Have the audacity to redefine feminism and re-brand it because he found feminism distasteful.
- Constantly using the “break the cutie” trope to punish his supposedly “strong female characters.” (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Firefly, Avengers: Age of Ultron)
- Using the threat of sexual violence against his lead female protagonists on multiple occasions (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Firefly, Avengers)
Check yourself, fandom. These criticisms of Joss Whedon’s work have been long-standing and are completely valid. So, before you get on your high horse and try to accuse his detractors of being bitter fangirls, take a look at all the fucked up shit your problematic fav has said and done, and then we’ll talk.

The sterilization was FORCED on her, and she explicitly states that they did it to eliminate distractions and encourage ruthlessness.
