I need to start posting here again.. so here’s an Underverse Deceit inspired piece! I saw remnants of what seems to be UT Papyrus’s red scarf on X Papyrus’s weapon on Jakei’s art piece. My Megamind brain, like many others, thought that maybe these two Papyruses might CROSS paths in the future. Just a thought?
Underverse rewatch, and I now realize that the moment in episode 0.3 part 2 where the text
“YOU ONLY HAVE THE GIFT TO KNOW THAT YOUR USELESS LIFE IS NOT GOING TO END WELL”
flashes on the screen in Wingdings might not only be foreshadowing XGaster’s ability to see the future, but may also be linked to another hidden frame.
I’m not sure if it’s common knowledge among Underverse fans by now or not (since this seems to have been referenced in @cornmayor ’s REGRET animatic), but for those who haven’t found this detail I’m posting it here: in XTale X, when XGaster is shown having a breakdown over not wanting to make any more timelines, around the minute 24:10 the following image appears.
Putting it through a negative filter results in this:
Considering there’s been other instances in which we’ve been shown the “future” that XGaster can see in a similar way - in hidden frames, that is - it’s likely that he quite literally knows it won’t end well for him.
I made these animations when it was towards the end of high school. I was watching people like jakei, who makes underverse, and was deeply inspired to try and make my own animation series as well. It didn’t really work out, but the experience I gained from it helped me alot. [I went under a different username as: SnowAnimates on Amino, cause at the time Amino was advertising itself with many different creators and I joined one because of a creator I was following who recommended it.]
Here is my work in comparison to now. I have been practicing and I feel as though I made a significant improvement. I’m happy with how much I have improved!
