TGIF! We made it through the week! Today is going to be a good one folks, I pulled for you the GORGEOUS #QueenofWands by the incredible @enysguerrero from #78TarotCarnival. This card is all about creativity & inspiration! Someone will inspire you greatly today, or maybe you will inspire others! Or why not both!

Keywords are: Passion, vibrancy, free thought, confident

Artist’s Statement by Enys

The Queen of Wands represent a strong, happy and healthy woman, is a natural-born, intelligent leader who actively inspires others, she is full of energy and inspiration. I normally work with tragic and nostalgic themes, but this is such a strong card, that it transmitted me its own creative power and warmth. So, to represent her warmness and strong leader side, I decide to use red and golden as main colors, this is after all, a card related with the Fire element.
I cannot put aside my usually dark style, so I tried to make her a very Goth makeup, and black hair, but with a happy and friendly expression, so related to the woman who represents this card. And to perform the Wands theme, I decide to incorporate a wooden scepter, golden flowers and white roses. She is also a Carnival Circus Queen, and that’s why her wooden scepter, is crowned with a royal Venetian mask

Card Meaning by Trish Sullivan

The Queen of Wands is the vibrant Queen of the carnival, full of vigour and energy. Within her left hand she grasps her sceptre, topped by a beautiful carnival mask lending her a look of regal confidence, which she uses to inspire those around her, whilst her right hand is raised up to the sky. Surrounded by flowers thrown to her by her adoring public, she exudes passion and the contrasting colours of black and white in her costume give us some sense of her independent free spirit, not to be constrained by one colour or the other, with red showing her link to the fire of the wands suit.
This card embodies a strong and vital leader, with a streak of independence. She is engaging and inspiring, highly focussed on her goals, but warm and welcoming in all her affairs.
