wanted to draw a quick esther to celebrate the second season of unsleeping city, and realized i actually drew her during the first season and never posted!! so here’s both of them lol they’re totally different heights
have an Unsleeping City OC in time for the Lunar New Year! not, technically, my TUCsona, because my TUCsona would just be me except I can cast Leomund’s Tiny Hut to avoid paying rent in NYC. and also maybe Lesser Restoration! that would help me right now…at work…ha ha.
anyway this is Eliza Suen, Beast Conclave Ranger! she is a fifth generation lion keeper, a time-honored job that involves making sure the lions of Chinatown are happy and well-fed when they are not being called upon to bless restaurant openings, weddings, and New Year’s performances. in a way it is kind of like being Santa Claus, in that her job is only really visible once a year, except instead of making toys in the off-season, Eliza’s job mostly consists of buying lettuce and oranges in bulk and coming up with new and exciting ways to stack furniture so her lions don’t get bored. enrichment!
she is vaguely affiliated with the Shens (it pays to keep in touch with your aunties and uncles) but not especially affiliated with the Gramercy Occult Society (lions are territorial, and no matter how hard she tries she can’t get hers to play nice with Orlando and Rovias).
