MAN this thing is big. This single chapter is bigger than some of my earlier stories. I had a lot I wanted to cover. But the pen-ultimate episode of my story is here. I know some may not like where this is going BUT this is the story I wanted to tell so bare with me and know I’m always trying to go for a happy ending.

Man. This one just kept going for me. I’m pretty sure working on this chapter is what has prompted me to try my best to work on shorter chapters with my Choker of Love series. Anyways, I hope everyone enjoys. I’ll be getting another chapter of Choker of Love done sometimes next week (something for you to read on your phone while your forced to face family). As for this story, it still has one more chapter and an Epilogue. Cross your fingers. I’m hoping to have it done by the end of the year.

Since the last one I posted got so much attention I decided to post another random thought and see what people think. Today’s subject: Opposites Attract. 

The opposites attract aspect is seen as a major component of Haruka (I know the personality charts say she’s an introvert BUT she flirts so much I think she comes off as an extrovert) and Michiru’s (the introvert) relationship. At the same time, many fanfiction writers like to use it as a negative when trying to discredit the Mamoru and Usagi relationship. Many authors highly that Mamoru’s introverted nature make him a poor candidate for a relationship with the VERY extroverted Usagi and think the equally extroverted Seiya would be a much better pick. Again another double standard of fanfiction.

Frankly, speaking as someone who is an extrovert who has a partner who is an introvert I can say that it helps to balance each other out and you find you bring out the best in others when you aren’t totally mirroring every aspect of your significant other. It often helps to bring out the best in each other. Just like how Mamoru helps to ground the energetic Usagi and she helps him to come out of his shell. That’s true love right there. 

The Journey For Cosmos

My entry for The Rarepair Week for Prompt 3 Travel/Food. A journey to try and find Usagi causes Mamoru and Seiya to bond. This one came to me for a whale as I was exploring the idea of Mamoru moving on after Usagi remains Sailor Cosmos. Now that this one is done I’m gonna work on finishing my Dark Endyminion story before going back to Choker of Love. I hope everyone enjoys it.

So, while writing my previous story, “Ghosts of Yesterday” I came across what really bugs me most when it comes to Usagi x Seiya stories. Frankly, I find it overloaded with tropes. Seiya comes back, still has idol status (wealth and fame), and has no problem with the fact they are sworn to guard Princess Kakyuu and Usagi is in a bad marriage/lonely again/unsure about destiny and Mamoru is neglectful/cheating/abusive/etc. Years and years of Mamoru bashing has been getting old and tiresome. 

SO to this end I’m giving a prompt for a Seiya/Usagi story and am leaving it up to a writer to give it a shot: 

“After the battle with Galaxia, Mamoru is dead and not coming back only leaving his star seed behind. By becoming Sailor Cosmos, Usagi’s destiny has changed, the bond with Mamoru is broken and Crystal Tokyo is in danger of not happening. Luna and the others insist they need to find a new bearer of the Earth Star Seed but Usagi can’t stand to think about it as she thinks it will mean Mamoru is truly gone. Enter Seiya who wants to do all they (gender is up to you) can to be with Usagi. Unfortunately they have to deal with Kakyuu forbidding the relationship (and forbidding Seiya from being on Earth at all), Yaten and Taiki not helping, no studio wanting to work with them as a solo act, and everyone insisting Seiya is not cut out for any of it. The only one helping is Mamoru as a ghost still connected by the star seed. Mamoru just wants to help make sure Usagi is safe before he fades away permanently but Mamoru is conflicted because he wants whats best for Usagi but it hurts to see her with anyone else. Can Seiya prove they worthy of being Usagi’s soulmate?” 

There will a lot of angst and feelings in this one. Special attention would be paid to the Mamoru and Seiya dynamic as Mamoru will be the only one helping Seiya in their quest. Any takers?

Well here it is. The ending to my longest entry yet into fanfiction. Yes, I am well aware there are stories who go much longer but this doesn’t change the fact I wrote a freaking Novel length story. This thing is longer than the Notebook or The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe. I never thought I’d create something this big that was fanfiction. It’s a bit surprising. Still, its a story I wanted others to read. I think I’ll give my overall thoughts on it all when I have some time to decompress. For now, just enjoy and know I plan on writing more later.
