Okay I don’t know where else to say this or post this but I have TWO songs that I very specifically headcanon to be Vi’s and Jinx’s songs and I’m gonna scream about them.

All of it is perfectly Vi. The “Wild women don’t get the blues; but lately I’ve been crying like a; Tall child,” & “ I was so young; When I behaved; Twenty five; Yet now I find; I’ve grown into; A tall child,” lines hit perfectly because she’s stuck. She’s been the responsible adult her whole life, she’s taken care of Powder and the rest, she’s taken the fall for them, she’s been made to act mature but deep inside she never got the chance to grow into herself. She’s incredibly good at being a stone wall but the second her feelings are involved, her instinct is to push them away and run. Thus the “So please hurry leave me; I can’t breathe; Please don’t say you love me,” lines, directed at Caitlyn, make perfect sense. That’s where the whole oil and water analogy comes in. She’s trying her hardest to push her away because the emotions are too much for her to deal with.

Do I really need to explain this one? It’s absolutely Jinx. From voices in her head, to not recognizing herself in the mirror/dealing with dual identities (between Jinx, who helps her deal with trauma through fully shutting it out being being cray cray, and Powder, who’s a soft, gentle child that really needs protection and love). And then uh… literally “Fireworks exploding in my hands,” which uh.. Jinx’s explosives. Which uh.. as a local Jinx x Ekko shipper, ahem-

And we know she’s good with fireworks, too. She can quite literally “paint the sky”.

viktor:

+ probably too scared to use pet names at first, they feel awkward coming out his mouth and he’s not used to it at all

+ his knowledge on affection is quite limited, limited to old books he may have read in his pastime, so he uses more old fashioned pet names: darling, dear, love, etc

+ the first time he said it was a complete accident, he was experimenting at his desk, goggles on and everything-

+ “darling, can you pass me the vial?”

+ he noticed you didn’t respond so he spun in his chair and lifted his goggles, staring blankly at you, “what?”

+ “i suppose i did” my man has the slyest smirk as if he wasn’t shivering in his pantaloons too nervous to use pet names before this

+ tries not to use them too often, wants it to feel special even if in reality, he could say it 24/7 and you’d get butterflies every single time

jayce:

+ absolute menace when it comes to pet names, if viktor underuses them, jayce overuses them

+ he’s such a dudebro when it comes to this so he constantly uses baby and babe this is not debateable, it is a fact

+ rarely even says your actual name anymore, your new name is “babe”

+ pretty early in the relationship is when he starts saying it, unlike viktor, he’s had experience in this field and feels comfortable with most things already

+ “babe, we just made an amazing discovery-“

+ “baby, take a look at this!”

+“babe-“

+ takes it personally if you call him by his name instead of a pet name

+tries to say “babygirl/babyboy/baby” in a sexy way occasionally, it’s up to you if you like it or not LMFAO

vi:

+ god, i love women

+she uses pet names in a teasing way 90% of the time, not in a mean way but in a “you know you can’t resist me” typa way

+uses cupcake (of course), sweetheart, honey, hot stuff, etc- always has that overtly flirtatious tone and sly smirk on her face especially if you get flustered easily

+calls you pet names the moment you first meet, her charm instantly had you WHIPPED (i mean shii, me too)

+“hey sweetheart, mind helping me with this?”

+when she’s really trying to rile you up, she closes in behind you, her hands ghosting over your hips and her warm breath hitting the nape of your neck as she whispers in your ear-

+“lookin’ good, cupcake”

+likes when you hit her with that same energy, it turns into a competition on who can fluster who more
