I had to admit defeat, I don’t really know where I wanted to take this, but it’s cute and I AM happy with the angles on El’s head +hands and Annie’s content face.

So Yellow/El has a tumblr and I been posting/reblogging to it for about 3 months now following their timeline real time. :P Decided I’d reveal it was, in fact, a character blog this way.

I haven’t done any work like this in a while but I’m p pleased with how it turned out. :3 I hope to post more like this since Yellow is a photo taking type.

Of course I have a Pokemon au for Blue and Yellow.  Of course it’s gotten far away from me. :y

Just some Walking in the Rain sketches.  First two are working out some shots for the first chapter/prologue.

Most recent is the last sketch of Yellow with the “what did you fucking say?” unsmile there which is now my test sketch for all the brushes I download for Clip Studio. :U

And to this day, they say if you listen carefully you can hear mournful wailing and dance music coming from deep in the forest late at night.

So Blue and Yellow I don’t write taking place in a particular year but just for this current event, it’s 16 years since they met since, as my OCs, I’ve had them for 16 years (So this would put Blue at 31 and Yellow at 32).  Didn’t think too much about it, just that Yellow gets some facial hair and Blue is devastated by the news.

And so I finished the bases for Blue and Yellow, ages 15 and 16 respectively.  Basically their default outfits without accessories or outer layer (Blue’s p partial to hoodies unsurprisingly).

The last time I’ve done a colored piece with them was apparently 2011.  I gotta say laying down the base colors for them is nice to see, especially since color is a huge part of their character (to a point I don’t even refer to them by their actual names, just their color, even in script lol).

Two bases left to make (as seen in this line up sketch),Yellow’s hair back/hair down, and Blue’s normal/unspecified sickness posts.

Blue in his default state and with a particular sickness he has when he met Yellow.

His design has changed a lot more than Yellow’s has in the last 15 years and I’ve finally gotten him where I want him. 0u0

Idk if anyone remembers this I posted in October but I actually have been working on it.

I’m trying to also start using Clip Studio instead of Photoshop and it’s been interesting.  Imma be real, I been using Photoshop for 16 years so transitioning over to another program feels super bizarre.  Anyway, the other two age variants and Blue will be coming along after this.  I’m actually making all of these as bases for the outfits they wear throughout their story.

Current google doc page count is 500 with 84 stories (51 of them finished, others in progress, all needing editing lol).

I cannot express how much I am liking working with these OCs of mine and am honestly really excited about the work I have planned for them. <3

Yellow looks p much exactly like his mom.  If he didn’t come out with yellow hair and eyes, he’d probz have the same as her.

Blue starts getting into a habit of playing with Yellow’s hair v early.  Dries it once while Yellow is like half asleep and when it’s much longer, he starts just elaborately braiding it n shit.

Anyways, mostly Yellows because apparently my gravitation to smol blondes applies even to my OCs.

Yellow has an album on his phone dedicated to all his anime husbands.

When you’re tipsy and the bf dresses up for the first time in like 8 years instead of looking like a beach hippie.  Yellow’s also kinda insecure about how young he looks, especially in comparison to Blue as they’ve gotten older and Blue’s like “idk, man, we’ve known each other since we were actually teenagers so????”

But dang if a button up with rolled sleeves isn’t doing it for him.

Literally, Blue and Yellow lose their shit every time the other one wears a new outfit.

Sketch of my boys from earlier this year that I just really liked.  Blue (hoodie boy) hasn’t looked quite how I want him when I draw him most of the time tbh and this was like.  The ONE (1) sketch where he did.

Only problem is that their height difference is way off here. UnU Yellow way too tall, but I can pretend Blue is sitting if anyone else can.

OCtober Blue and Yellow: “In Love”

Yellow and Blue both have a condition where the longer they’re in contact with something, the hue all shifts to that of the color they “represent.”  This color change is permanent, even if another person with the same condition comes in contact afterwards.  Blue was too depressed to move a lot of the time and so he’d end up “staining” things almost everywhere he went which later turned into a more severe problem ir2 his health (like aside from the depression).  Their hair and eyes are the same color as the one they stain things with and that often is what gives away someone with this condition.

Because of this, Yellow, who does a lot of crafting (his favorite making knotted bracelets), ends up working exclusively with yellow material so he doesn’t get to work with other colors.  When Blue asks how much it’d cost to buy a bracelet, Yellow ties a bunch of cords around his wrist and says that after they turn, they can call it a collab.  It was the first time Blue could say that he’d seen some kind of value in his condition and while he’d begun to stop outright hating it, it’s where he’d actually started to accept it as a part of him instead of trying to ignore it.

As for punching ghosts… that’s another thing entirely tho still related to some color symbolism lololol.

So I know I’m already behind on OCtober, but it’s more I’m planning to up my content outoput.  I’ve had a hard time just getting the energy and motivation to draw lately so sketching so far with these two has come out amazingly very much how I want it too.

So while these will probz get more finished, I’d like to share what I have so far.

Hi, this is Blue and Yellow, they are the idiots I’ll be working with this OCtober.

I p much drew this whole thing just for Yellow sitting on his own quest bed when Blue shows up to get the other set of bracelets.

He totally just hucked his own body off the bed spire in the hope that, being short on time, Blue wouldn’t decide to climb the thing and instead just fly to it.  It’s why the blood is still there.

(Blue has a Wheel of Fortune modus even though it’d be far more appropriate for a light player, but it’s gotta do with the actual canon of the story they’re in where he noodles around with music and has a series of songs inspired by Yellow that he calls his Wheel of Fortune series.  For various pun reasons in the context of their story)

When you realize your dream body isn’t the same as the one dead on the bed.

Yellow makes bracelets and one of them was the first thing he ever gave Blue and since then he’s got a lot more (plus some first clumsy attempts at making rings).  Blue realizes he doesn’t have the ones he was wearing after going god tier and he wants to go back and get them before they finish the game.

He also gotta remember a. he’s not subtle and b. even if his bf wasn’t a light player they been together for like 6 years and lived in the close proximity of their car for like 5 of those years, Yellow is gonna figure out what he’s doing.

Yellow usually wears a lot of them too, specifically one that’s paired with Blue’s first.  Just sayin, Yellow’s warning not to make him go get him is one he doesn’t want to have to act on but…

(continuing from this AU for my OCs)

When the bae ascends to godhood and you know exactly what that means having ascended yourself.

My boyyyyys.  I’ve honestly been p engrossed in writing for these two OCs of mine.  Like realtalk, they’re two I’ve had for like 15 years out of a group of 10 originals and they’re honestly my favorite.  Been taking some quizzes in character with them so of course, I got their god tiers.

Yellow (El) ascended first so he kinda loses his shit seeing Blue (An) also ascended and like.  Logical conclusion in this game is that he was killed by someone.  Heir and rogue (funniest is star signs are also Sagitarius and Leo respectively lol).

Bu yeah, there’s… a lot for these two I’m writing out and wanna do with them~
