Sadly, this story ends in a bittersweet tragedy for our two enemies-to-lovers here, as it all takes place years prior to Legends Arceus when the clans were still at war and most people feared Pokémon. But while these two don’t get the happy ending we’d like for them, their bond forms the foundation of the eventual peace between clans. Their relationship is what inspires Adaman’s great-grandfather to begin taking steps towards peace and cooperation between everyone living in the land of Hisui, human and Pokémon.

Might I offer a shitpost during these trying times? After having a discussion with someone on Insta over a Pokemon AU I was struck with this stupid thought. The Dodrio is Apollo’s. Dodrio does not like Klavier. Klavier fucking dies.
Well the pokemon movie is coming out this week so in celebration here are two more pics from my McCree zine, pokemon au! Jesse chilling with some of his pokemon. He likes holding them I guess.
Clefable was his starter (then a Cleffa) because they’re from the moon and evolve using a moon stone. Sometimes he can’t remember if he has a Gengar or not, which is a weird thing to forget. Zweilous will evolve when Marc and Steven figure out that Jake is there.
There are lots of different ways to do pokemon aus and this one is just It’s Danny Phantom and Also There are Pokemon.
1) Danny’s starter was a Gastly and now it’s a Gengar and his main heavy hitter. It’s shiny so when it mega evolves it turns white just like Danny going ghost.
2) Girafarig is two halves in one! Nincada evolves into Ninjask, but if you have an empty spot on your team when that happens then you also get it’s empty husk, Shedinja, so they’re the alive and dead versions of Nincada. Symbolism!
3) Some more good ghost types that I thought would fit. Mimikyu just wants to be loved and accepted and Galar Corsola is just kind of fucked up haha; coral reefs that get bleached white due to rising ocean temperatures are called ghost reefs.
These were fun! I’ve been real nostalgic for Danny Phantom lately and everything is good as a Pokemon au, so here you go lol. I have more planned for an extended series so hopefully I can keep this momentum going.
Been thinking about that pkmn trainer au I spent a day making stuff for instead of doing my bio homework and!! Then this! Was wondering what type shredder would be like…dragon? Dark? Hmmmm…and then i was like oh. Steel/ghost. Duh lol

Fun and random thought I had; what pokemon would x OC of mine have? For Anya I can see that she likes the more cursed types that are considered to be sorta eerie and macabre:
Mimikyu - ghost/fairy; A pokemon that hides its true form and nature, much like Anya does.
Litwick - ghost/fire; A candle-like pokemon that sucks out the life force surrounding them.
Phantump -ghost/grass; Rumoured to be the ghost of a deceased child in a tree stump. Likes to bring travellers astray.
Roselia - poison/grass; Gifted to her by ‘father’ as a bedew and later on evolved into a roselia. It is Anya’s closest friend and it is from Roselia’s poison that she extracts the poison to mutilate herself.
Inherited from father:
Sinistea - ghost; A teacup with poison in its content. Not that it affects Anya much but it is part of the Nosferatu.
Polteageist - ghost; A teapot with a liquid that can only be drunk by its master. Anya never quite befriended either pokemon that served ‘father’ before, but she doesn’t feel a pressing need to either as their poison doesn’t affect her, much to their frustration.
Shumpert - ghost; Father used this ghost pokemon to sniff out potential clients and predict events, nearly feeding it with enough vile feelings to turn it into a Bernadette. Anya has opted for another path for the Nosferatu, though she allows the pokemon to roam around as it pleases.
Vileplume -poison/grass; A giant poisonous mushroom that the Nosferatu use to extract their poison from to use in the ritual.
Okay but speaking of Dick having a Magikarp, I’m now obsessed with the idea of his Magikarp not having evolved by the time the Teen Titans start up.
So, yeah, maybe Dick’s a little jealous of Wally and his Jolteon or Garth and his Starmie. Maybe he’s a little sad that Magikarp doesn’t show him much affection like Donna’s Emolga does. Maybe he’s a little frustrated that he can’t even leave Magikarp in the open water without worrying that Magikarp is going to randomly start jumping around and get snatched up by a Pidgeotto.
But Bruce gave him Magikarp because he believed in him dammit. He believed that Dick had what it took to help Magikarp evolve into Gyarados, and Dick does! He does, he does, he does! He’s not going to disappoint Bruce. He’s not going to give up on his floppy friend who no longer fits in Bruce’s bathtub. He’s going to keep working with Magikarp until he evolves! Dick tells himself this constantly, strengthening his resolve.
And then the unexpected happens…
The Teen Titans HQ is attacked. The Titans and their Pokemon jump into action. Well, all of the Pokemon except Magikarp who’s swimming around in the river next to the HQ.
The roof of the HQ gets blasted to bits. Donna and Emolga take to the sky. The other Titans run outside to help and a battle ensues. Garth gets surrounded and Dick jumps in to help him. He sees a blast meant for Garth and he pushes Garth out of the way. The impact of the attack sends Dick sprawling through the air and into the river with an almighty splash.
The churning water tosses him around in its cold depths. Arms aching, Dick scrambles to swim back towards the bank. He reaches out to snag a rock but misses when an all-consuming light fills his vision, making it impossible for him to see. He falls further and further until something snags his cape, and Dick chokes at the sudden pressure around his neck. It makes it harder to breathe and Dick panics. His hands instinctively reach up to try and alleviate the tension, but before he can even try and unclasp his cape, he’s being yanked out of the water and back into open air.
He sputters and chokes until he’s dropped on solid ground like a wet blanket. Without warning, a loud, guttural growl cuts through the air, causing goosebumps to ripple across Dick’s skin.
What the fuck was that, he wonders as he instinctively rolls out of the way to protect himself from whatever threat is behind him. He looks up at where the sound came from, and when his eyes lock on the dragon-like face above him, he swears his heart stops beating for a moment.
“Magikarp?” he mouths to himself in disbelief.
Magikarp—no—Gyarados spares Dick a look as if making sure he’s okay before he lets out another angry roar and turns towards Dick’s attackers with a ball of light already forming in his mouth.

Summary: The elemental titans died ages ago and are using Maxie / Archie as their new bodies / hosts.
Story and “gameplay” below cut
Story: It’s nearing the end of Team Magma / Aqua’s plans and the time has come to awaken Groudon / Kyogre. After one final battle with MC Maxie / Archie attempts to awaken the ancient beast only to see its stone body crumble to dust and the Red / Blue orb fuse with their body. Aside from the fact the ancient titan of land / sea is fucking dead and the orb fusing with Maxie / Archie all seemed well and nothing bad really happened… yet.
It would be multiple weeks before Maxie / Archie noticed anything wrong. For Macie he’d start running high fevers and with Archie he’d have trouble walking. It took some time before it became clear to Team Magma / Aqua what was happening: they were turning into Groudon / Kyogre and it was far too late to stop it. The team took their leader and hid him from the public and scrambled to try and remedy this but nothing could be done beyond helping to ease the pain of the transformation.
The transformation took months to complete and throughout that time Maxie / Archie’s minds were overwritten by that of Groudon / Kyogre. It was a painful experience for everyone involved. Once complete Maxie stood at around 12 feet tall and Archie was about 12 feel long (because fish).
Maxie would make the Team Magma base near Fallarbour his home, covering every surface with stone before going into hibernation. Archie decided to flee the Team Aqua base and go to Sootopilis, flooding the city and staying there.
Gameplay: For Maxie you’d play as Archie looking for answers about Maxie’s sudden dissapearence and the rumors of something big living in the old Team Magma base. You’d make your way through the base until you come across Maxie’s office where you will awaken Maxie and he will give chase.
Maxie is blind so he would use sound to find your location, but he also has a long reach due to his long arms. Think the Janitor from little nightmares. Your goal would then be to escape the team Magma base because there’s no way in hell you’re living another day if you decide to stay. This “game” would probably be easier than Archie’s version of events.
With Archie you’d play as Maxie trying to get information on Archie’s disappearance and the siren in the ruins of Sootopilis. It’s everybody’s favorite, a water level. Except this would have actually good swimming mechanics. You’d spend some time exploring the area before realizing that you are not alone and are, in fact, being stalked.
Your first immediate goal would be to get onto land so you don’t get murked. After your first encounter with Archie your goal would change to trying to tag him so people can track Archie and make sure he stays in Sootopilis. This would likely involve luring Archie into a situation where he would be trapped by some underwater rocks or something, maybe you manage to pull him onto land. After that a huge chase would ensue.
As Maxie you unfortunately can’t swim faster than Archie so the chase would involve dipping in and out of water to run on land wherever possible before hopping to the next piece of land, all before finally escaping Sootopilis by the only entrance.

Holy shit i love this au. Well i am a huuuuge giovanni fan as well so that helps but this au is also rly cool. Totally invested, id love to hear more about it. I do wonder what happens to giovannis brother after gio basically saves his bro from their mom, does his brother tries to save gio from the abandonned rocket lab? Oe maybe he wasnt aware. Do they come in contact again after the good ending? I do wanna know what gio does of his life after the good ending as well. Ah so many questions, sorry for the rambling!
I can answer some of your questions right here!
Fran has no idea that Giovanni saved his ass and is trapped in a lab. He has near to no contact with Giovanni so he just assumed Gio not picking up his phone was Gio finally cutting contact with him.
They would come in contact after the good ending. It would be a very emotional reunion with Fran blaming himself for not finding Giovanni sooner and Giovanni just happy that he’s there with his brother and that Fran is okay.
As for Giovanni’s life after the good ending: he would spend a lot of time in therapy to relearn how to walk, act like a person again, and deal with the trauma of… well, everything. He’d never be able to live on his own and would likely end up living with one of his admins, Fran, or Silver. Basically just try his best to recover and live quietly while constantly fighting the urge to return to feline and knock the glass of water off the counter. (Also hardcore catnip addict lol)

Story and “gameplay” below the cut
Story: After the events of Red and Blue Giovanni was left shamed and made a fool of by mere children. This caused some internal friction among not only the grunts and admins but also with Madame Boss, Giovanni’s mother and superior. She demanded that he would make up for this failure, starting with the recreation of mewtwo. Giovanni explained that everything used to create mewtwo had been destroyed but Madame Boss didn’t care. She demanded it and her word was final.
The team initially tried using Alakazam as a stand in, upping their psychic potential but almost all subjects died or were left in a vegetative state. With pokemon bases being a bust Madame suggested using human subjects, Giovanni and the admins reluctantly agreeing. More progress was made over the following months, but as they were reaching perfection they had exaughsted all psychics in Kanto and Jhoto. Madame insisted that they’d need just a few more and decided to use Giovanni’s twin brother, Francisco, to get the job done.
Giovanni disagreed, wanting to protect his brother from such a fate. Madame Boss agreed but decided to use him instead. By this point most of the afmins had left Team Rocket, believing Madame Boss was out of control, so there was little resistance to the idea.
Giovanni was the first and only success.
It was not long after that that Team Rocket completely caved, the death of Madame Boss hitting the team hard. Giovanni was left abandoned in the lab, stuck in his cell waiting for someone to find him, his mind slowly deteriorating.
Gameplay: You play as Looker investigating not only the downfall of Team Rocket but the reports of strange psychic happenings in an old Team Rocket hideout. Which exploring the hideout you’d accidentally trigger the “Intruder Lockdown” system, kicking everything into action.
You’d plunge deeper into the hideout and slowly piece together what happened to Team Rocket while also figuring out what this hideout was used for, that second part becomes clear kinda quickly though. After encountering Giovanni the main goal would likely be to escape: turning off the intruder lockdown and getting back upstairs.
If you choose to stick around and find all the information surrounding the hideout and Giovanni you could encounter a second ending: one where you rescue Giovanni and take him out of the hideout.
And thats it for Giovanni (story and “gameplay” wise) if people find this interesting I could post stuff outside of the basic summary.
