My Tiefling Paladin for @yousadclownofaman‘s upcoming D&D 5e game!
Obviously, this isn’t your standard Tiefling, because in Sadclown’s setting, Wyrmspire, they’re super Wayne-Barlowe-esque and alien and skeletal and I love it.
Clad-In-Morning-Mist, (Clad or Misty for short) came here from The Maw with a bunch of other Tieflings during a big pilgrimmage and was like. Hot damn, what’s all this green stuff? Is this how forests look here? Where’s all the fire? Things can be Not On Fire???
And, through a journey of self-discovery, started serving a goddess of nature as one of her paladins and warriors against destruction of the natural order.

I floop-floopian LOVE this guy’s stuff, so much…His designs give me chills in a way I’ve felt on only a handful of occasions since first reading EXPEDITION over 25 years ago.The most abstracted of his creations approach the level of otherworldliness I associate with true “aliens”–organisms generated independently by biotic processes occurring on a remote world in total isolation from terrestrial evolution. Look upon his works, ye mighty, and despair!

Anyone else bothered by the traditional Ghidorah not looking much like an alien for something that’s from space? No? Ok.
Anyway, here’s King Ghidorah inspired by Snaiads and Darwin IV aliens. The two additional “heads” are evertible probosci for draining victims of fluids, or for clamping together like jaws (demonstrated on poor Godzilla.)
