‘this is bad because once they’re done gutting abortion rights they’re going to-’ stop. shut your mouth and sit with the fact that what’s going on right now is a disaster for the basic rights of women and girls in this country. this is enough of a disaster on its own. attacks on half of the population aren’t some fucking stepping stone to the 'real’ problems. drop dead
Exactly, like this is a huge rollback of women’s rights, girls and women will die because of this, and many more will have their life plans thrown out in favor of raising children they never wanted. But all I see, except on radblr, is “this, this is bad and all, but next they’ll do something truly awful” Or “this is why we need to take a stand for gay, especially trans rights, they’re coming for us next” or even ppl saying that somehow men are the true victims of these crimes against humanity, because men who don’t want babies will start raping other men and trans women. Like don’t injury yourself reaching that far, don’t let ur legs cramp up while you run away from the fact that this is an assault in womens rights. women are the victims here and that that alone is reason for be furious, and terrified, and to fight.
