Chris & Chandra’s Backyard Forest Upstate New York Wedding…

This past summer I was able to be a part of Chris & Chandra’s DIY backyard forest wedding in Upstate New York. The two have been best friends for years, meeting in college and growing together for the past eight years. Chris & Chandra were married amongst all their friends and family in Chris’s parent’s forest backyard, where the ceremony and reception all took place with zero electricity. The centerpieces, boutonnieres, rings, bouquets, lights, and invitations were all made by hand by the couple with love and care. It was an elegant event in the forest filled with live music, camping, community, nature, and love.
