I’ll stop looking at these two and stop crying at how beautiful they are.
I will let eternity have them while I remember them somedays in my definite lifetime and I will smile and be thankful for having witnessed such kind of love.
Fortunately…. fortunately today is not the day I leave.
Wenzhou shows their love in different ways and both of them without knowing it, is the kind of love they needed in their lives.
Wen Kexing shows his by putting food in his soulmate’s bowl before anyone else’s, putting his sleeves infront of him to protect, spouting poems, booking a whole inn, cooking by himself and by listening to his soulmate’s woes at night when everything is quiet and all they have is each other.
Zhou Zishu’s love is silent. He shows it through his warm embraces, his firm grip, his bravery when fighting everyone despite his weakened body, his offering of a home and a family to man he barely knows and the promise of a life of freedom from the darkness of their pasts.
They show their love to each other by drinking wine and sparring. They say “I love you” by saying their names while basking under the sun.
It’s love that they can offer and both need and it is enough.
The first few eps of Word of Honor are just Wen Kexing going “What a mighty coincidence seeing you here! It must be fate <3″ and Zhou Zishu going “You are literally stalking me.”
