#what we do in the shadows
Ok but what if Guillermo brings Nandor to a family gathering at his mom’s place and at first it looks like everyone’s homophobic. There’s people whispering behind their backs, aunts looking scandalized, uncles looking pissed…
Guillermo’s mother takes him aside and is like “What do you think you’re doing? Who did you bring into my home? Have you lost your mind? Are you one of them now?”. Guillermo tries to explain that yes, he’s gay but Nandor is just a friend, but then his mom just stares at him and says “Memo, I know you’re gay, I’ve known since you were 9, I’m talking about the fact that you brought a VAMPIRE into my home!”.
Turns out the van Helsing gene runs on his mother’s side and Guillermo just left Nandor alone in a room full of vampire hunters.

“It’s a beautiful scene. Someone is seductively riding a candlestick up and down. Someone’s on the couch sucking and getting sucked… There’s just a lot of demanding things: ‘Gizmo, get the dildos. Gizmo, try out the dildos. How were the dildos?’ They’re fine!”
happy pride to this queer treasure of a show

That article about the press release is so funny to me cuz it’s like “we aren’t saying that they will get together, they’ll just get into a rom-com trope situation that has never not lead to the protagonists getting together” oookay then
