Finally made some nice photos of my first Hedebo doily. It’s also my first try at recreating a real historical embroidery piece from a book that is more than 100 years old.

I am so into needlework. Anything that can be accomplished with a needle and thread is a constant fascination with me. ✨When I learn a new technique it feels like a door unlocks and opens in my brain. When I was little and I took a plane ride, I would stick a needle at the inside hem of my dress. I wanted to be prepared for a deserted island! ☘️
