But Belos is the character in “The Owl House” who’s a creepy old guy with a handsome younger henchman and masked followers who wants to steal a key in order to open a magical door that will enable him to fuse worlds that should probably not get merged together.

And yes, while Luz and Sora are both to a certain extent trying to be the Disney version of Lyra Belacqua, though Riku is a way closer analogue to Will Parry than Amity is.
