One of several character animations I did for the “Race to Oz” game on POP! Slots! Here I showcase the process we went through to achieve these animations - first we roughed out the animation using traditional methods, and then we matched the animation with final puppeted pieces.
Cool fact:
The first animals to receive a Dickin Medal, a medal created in 1943 by Maria Dickin in the UK to be given to animals who showed great gallantry in service to their respective branch of Armed Forces. Were three Pigeons who helped recover a crew from a ditched aircraft! Their names were White Vision, Winkie, and Tyke. So the next time you think, or hear someone calling them pests. Think again! Pigeons are heroes!
