This Halloween I’m dressing up as Cher - so I decided to cover myself in water and lie very still.

The ending of Wolf’s Rain was a metaphor. They put the killing thing between their teeth, died and were then reincarnated showing that the search for paradise is endless and largely fruitless and everything is awful and sad.

*choking up* a metaphor.
