‘Look Forward to Better’ (+ detail shots). Microsoft Paint.
I struggled for the longest time with how I wanted to finish this, but then the little plant earrings I ordered came in and solved everything! I’ve started work with a new job that I love, but it means that I have a little less time to unwind with drawing. That makes those moments of being able to doodle all the more precious, though.

Happy New Year! Grew a little bored of playing Minecraft while sick, so I cleaned up a messy sketch! Appropriately named, since I don’t think I’ve slept this much since I was a baby!

‘Looking Forward.’ Microsoft Paint + Pixlr.
A doodle that I love despite being unsure of how to finish it for the longest time! I drew the background in Paint, warped it in Pixlr randomly, realized I liked it, and then put it together in Paint again. I used a picture of myself as a reference for posing!
For anyone wondering, since I can’t use layers on MS Paint, I make the background as a separate file from the main piece and then transparently paste the original drawing onto the background. It’s not quite as effective as using a more sophisticated program, but it’s still fun figuring out how to work around such a simple program’s limitations!
