it’s been a while since I last posted something. For the past month I’ve been maintaining my weight because I wanted to give myself a break from thinking about dieting and I also felt I wanted to enjoy my summer without the stress of feeling like I needed to hit a weight goal. I have hovered between 80 and 81kg but I have not been religiously weighing myself either, just once in a while. 

I’m glad I’ve managed to maintain my weight this past month. I’ve always struggled with being able to maintain my weight so this has really showed me that I’ve made long term lifestyle changes and they are a part of my daily routine now. 

However, I still want to get to my goal of 75kg and I feel like now I am ready to resume my progress. I have been trying the past week or so to get back into a stricter dieting routine but I have found myself slipping up (especially with late night snacking). 

As much as I’ve enjoyed keto I am now turning more towards doing low carb. Keto served me well for when I needed to lose a large portion of weight. Now that I am at a lower weight and closer to my goals I feel like I want to start a diet that will be closest to my maintenance/everyday diet. So I will be doing low carb and just counting my calories for now. I can’t promise that I won’t at some point go back to keto just because it did work so well for me, but we shall see. 

It is the 28th of July today and I would like to lose at least 3kg within the next month. I will weigh myself tomorrow and post an update.
