i know this is more likely a case of the show deciding Rule Of Funny takes precedence over Strict Continuity and i absolutely respect that but on the other hand
nandor being so terrible at hypnosis that he “can’t hypnotize someone into doing something they don’t already want to do” has absolutely hysterical implications for the city council episode. doug peterson was just waiting, waiting,for the opportunity to go ape shit
