“Yue / Summer Reflections IV” Sketchbook & Digital, 2020
Guess it’s been a while since everything kicked off and we’ve been sequestered which has honestly put me in a little of an artistic rut, so I started this series of studies to play around some and to hopefully help pull me out of it a bit.
Anyways, like many of you I’m sure, I just finished a [re]run-through of ATLA and I’ve gotta say that show holds up so well, especially in today’s climate. I have nothing but love for it. Back when it aired, the conclusion of the Water book was always a big one for me and I REALLY enjoyed Yue’s design so this was my take on that revisitation. Yueki is such a cute ship I’ve gotta draw them more.
