Yuuram in Novel 1, chapter 3. And I quote:
“Shinou is the darkness, and the Daikenja is the light. They yearn for each other, love each other, and are born bearing each other’s colors in body. In short, darkness is light, and light is darkness!”
So in novel 1, sensei was hinting that 1.Daikenja and Shinou were a couple and also that 2. Wolf and Yuuri would be their reincarnations; see how Gun says that "they’re born bearing each other’s colors”.
Anyway, it’s interesting to think where the story would have gone, had she taken this route.
At any rate, the royal couple was always going to be front and center.

As I was drawing today, I remembered how there was a time when people were like “Yuuri only likes Wolfram for his looks!” and then finding out that sensei had written a story like 10 years prior to that where Yuuri specifically addresses this by saying it’s not Wolf’s looks, that he loves him no matter what.

Spring Issues, Vol. 01 || A glimpse of the life in The Blood Pledge Castle through ca-me-ralenses.
His Majesty The Demon King, Shibuya Yuuri, brought an instant-painting-machine from Earth. This machine that might rival Lady von Karbelnikoff’s inventions was called a camera. It was small, light, and no magic power required. Brilliant it was, though it broke eventually due to its soaked condition, caused by water that transported His Majesty from Earth to The Great Demon Kingdom.
However, His Majesty The King and His Eminence Murata Ken were kind enough to share what had been captured.
For those who were curious about His Majesty Yuuri’s remarkable charms, beautiful black hair and black eyes, he is as beautiful as he was rumored to be, apparently. His Eminence is also the same.
According to Lillit Rach Nanatan Mikotan Dacascos, the humble soldier that sent these pictures, while His Majesty and His Eminence were having fun sharing their portraits—His Majesty found it very pleasing to also share some of official portraits of other residents of Blood Pledge Castle, purposely posed for this special request of The Demon King.
His favourite one was (reason unknown) a portrait of Her Royal Former Majesty, Lady Cäcilie von Spitzweg, his predecessor. No one doubts her beauty and I believe, dearest readers, you will find yourself also fall into her unavoidable charms.
Her three sons are undeniable handsome, but the rumor of how His Excellency The Third Son, Lord Wolfram von Bielefelt, is the only one who is beautifully similar to his mother, is apparently true. Maybe this is one of the reasons why His Majesty puts these unrivalled beauties on his favourite lists. Lord von Bielefelt, after all, is his devoted fiancé.
His Excellency The Second Son, Lord Conrart Weller is no stranger to ladies’ ears nor eyes. He is quite popular, after all, and after this newest portrait of his was shared, perhaps his popularity will increase even more.
And although His Excellency The Oldest Son, Lord Gwendal von Voltaire, is not interested in spotlights, ladies (and gentlemen) still find his cold demeanors completely mesmerizing. People began to talk, however, of how Lord von Voltaire remains unmarried up until now—although he is the head of von Voltaire household. But one of the rumors said that he already landed his heart to his childhood friend, one of The Three Great Witches, Lady Anissina von Karbelnikoff.
The rumor still rings untrue, unfortunately, since the famous Red Devil, Crimson Anissina also prefers being a single woman. She was rumored fighting giant bear single-handedly and feared by most of men in the kingdom, but if we take a look closely, her admirable petite form and beauty is still a match to Lady Cäcilie’s.
The dilemma of this Mad Magicalist / Inventor’s unladylike behaviour and her beauty was frequently felt by one of von Voltaire’s men, Jozak Gurriere, who also happened to be captured by His Majesty camera,and stated boldly that he wanted to somehow being in the same frame with Anissina-chanand challengingly “do romantic poses with her”, but was too afraid of his boss.
Speaking of the most beautiful person in the kingdom, it is not fair if this particular person wasn’t mentioned in the first place. His Excellency Lord Günter von Christ, the famous tutor of the royal family and The King’s loyal advisor. Though men fancied him, apparently his only interest is His Majesty himself.

To me, drawing Wolfram von Bielefeld is one of the most enjoyable characters to draw, aside from Luna Lovegood he has this charm that I don’t understand.
