#zutara fanfiction
So this morning I woke up with a cough and a headache, and I won myself a COVID swab and a day off work. Did I spend the unexpected free time doing revision for the exams that I was lamenting only yesterday?
You bet your sweet arse I didn’t.
Well, okay, yes, I did. But only in part.
The other part I spent working my way through a tub of Ben and Jerry’s (health promotion at its finest, I’m a very responsible member of the medical community), watching Brooklyn-99, and writing Zutara fluff.
Can we say ‘fucking solid sick-day’? I think so.
The fluff needs a wee bit of sprucing, but until I post it later on tonight I thought why not a wee peek?
SO without further ado…
Zuko falls silent, and Katara presses her focus into that point on his chest where his scarred, stubborn heart beats, and as its pace starts to calm a little in the quiet of the hallway-
She feels a catch in her throat, the words drifting from her lips more breath than voice.
Aaaaaaahhhhh!!
