Headcanon that every year, for two weeks to a month in the beginning of winter, James got really bad headaches and would complain about them often. His only true relief (besides Quidditch) was transforming into Prongs. This prompted the Marauders to be afraid that the headaches were side effects and that they would worsen and start to affect the rest of them–James was the first to change, he went first. They became so paranoid trying to find the answer, it wasn’t until James turned into Prongs one night and found himself to be bleeding from the head that everyone calmed down and realise what was going on.
Prongs was shedding his antlers. A yearly, common occurrence that caused no pain to his deer form, and nothing to be worried or paranoid about.
Sirius fondly refers to the regeneration of antlers as “blossoming,” similar to how a mother speaks of their daughter’s first period.
Peter vomited the first time he saw Prongs shedding his velvet after his antlers had grown in.
so people out there really think that hogwarts, in all its thousand years, only had skinny white straight people ?? HUH ?? and in a world where you can literally point a glorified stick at something and have it levitate, it’s somehow impossible for people to be fat and also considered beautiful ??

I made a bunch of positive affirmation gifs for a project at school because, for those who may not know, I suffer from that sweet sweet anxiety/depression cocktail.
I’ve been in college for over five years, and with all things going as planned I’ll graduate in six. I’m pretty sad, because most if my friends are graduating this year. But I realized early on that my mental illness prevented me from taking classes full time. That’s okay though.
If you can’t commit to something because of an illness, its okay. Its not a race.
