Thinking about how I refrain from getting myself a Jin plushie because oyako duo’s first outfits were so intricate and unique and beautiful that, even though the point of the chibi plushies is to have a simplified cute design you can tuck into your handbag, I don’t feel satisfied at the thought of owning a plushie!Jin without a very detailed obi or several dozen pockets lovingly stitched on his person

After sobbing tears worth a dozen waterfalls over certain episodes and being impressed by the overall level of introspection and delicacy for such a sensitive (and personal) topic, I’m ready to officially watchTomorrow from cover to cover

Woke up after a nap and couldn’t go back to sleep so I decided to skim Tomorrow, just to see if I’d like it. And let me tell you, I was already sobbing by the time of the dear haraboji’s funeral procession…but him getting to see his mother in the afterlife?? Ruined, I tell you, I am rUINED

What are the chances when I decided to buy the (presumably) last copy of Taemin’s Advice in the album store, only to pull the photocard I liked the most? Quite the pleasant bonus to my first physical copy of a Taemin solo album ^-^

Some other things

• The temptation to collect photocards has wrestled with me for a good month, ever since I started watching K-pop collector videos. Pulling this photocard was like lifting a burden off my shoulders because now I know for certain this isn’t something I’d get into. I already had some qualms to begin with (despite understanding the appeal of it all) but enthusiasm is infectious and I like watching people be happy
• This is easily the biggest K-pop album I’ve ever owned - and I’ve owned *holds up three fingers* not many
• If you think about it, Advice technically qualifies as a photobook…and those who’ve been here long enough know I love photobooks. I’ve just never owned one starring a real person not playing a fictional character from a Japanese superhero franchise xD
• “Who’s gonna buy SHINee albums other than me in this store” (five minutes later a couple walk in and the lady immediately picked up Don’t Call Me Reality ver. and The Story Of Light Ep.1) “…serves me right”
• Idid contemplate on The Story of Light Ep.1 but it was a little too dinged up in the corners for me to look past it ^^;

Now it’s Donbrothers’ turn to drop a set of adorable plushies :)

SHINee’s fourteenth anniversary’s been putting me in the mood to get some albums, especially Misconceptions of Us, Everybody and Odd. Which is also how I discovered how much album packaging has changed in these seven years and how common it is for releases to go out of print ^^;
