“Fulcrum One, this is Fulcrum Leader, I read you loud and clear.”
“Watch your nose, Fulcrum Two, you’re coming in too tight. Ease back on your throttle.”
Watched Dunkirk for the first time this week, shocked I’ve never sat down to watch it before. Entire time I was swapping the pilots on screen out for Ahsoka and Barriss (because I’m a menace to society) so here. Have Ahsoka (with the world on her shoulders), and her growing squad. (the rando is Collins (Dunkrik), because I thought… why not? Try and stop me.)
Thought to revisit the 1940s AU, but also rebrand it in the process. I remember mentioning a year or so back the idea of stripping the 1940s AU clean of SW references, and refashioning it as its own piece of media.
So here’s an art dump of my favourite vintage trio: Arthur “Artie” Schlesinger, Edmund Orion Dowd and Erica Eshara Edley.
As I mentioned on Day 2, I love vintage fashion– the 1940s are my absolute favorite vintage fashion era, so as soon as I saw today’s prompt, I knew what I wanted to do! I based this piece off one of the posters for the 1941 musical film “You’ll Never Get Rich” starring Fred Astaire and Rita Hayworth! Thus, the silly fake poster. XD This was SO MUCH FUN to make! (Apologies for any inaccuracies in Shiro’s uniform. I did a lot of research for it, but there’s bound to be mistakes; I didn’t even try adding medals, because I was sure I’d get them wrong. XD)
