I had to cut my hair one year post big chop I straighten my hair at the end of September and it wouldn’t revert. It was one time and I guess way too much heat and I did steam treatment, protein treatments, deep conditioner and it came back some (see bottom right) but the back was awful. So I had to have it cut. I like that it isn’t round like before but I loved being able to pull my hair back and now I can’t. I want my hair to grow. I am thinking of trying hairfinity because my hair needs to get longer a whole lot faster.

Month 3 post big chop (middle pics) it looks a lot like month 2 (left bottom 2) but you can see a huge shift from month 1 (top side pics). Every month is a celebration no matter how much progress. I haven’t touched a flat iron or blow dryer in 4 months and counting. I also haven’t had a relaxer in a year. All this is progress and a reason to do a little dance
