4T2 Bakery Decorations

I made a gift for the @gardenofshadowssims​ 2021 Daisy Chain. There have been five days of sharing and there are five more to go, so come over and follow the thread to make sure you don’t miss any of the goodies!

4T2 Hispanic Heritage conversions

Here is a set of objects from The Sims 4 free Hispanic Heritage base game update converted for use in The Sims 2.

Included in this set are:

La Mesa de Familia

The table has just one subset and it comes in 12 different designs, with plain black and white options as well as 10 with tiled tops.

La Silla de la Mesa de Familia

The chair has two subsets, with 12 colours for the wood and just 1 for the wicker.

Florinda Pergola

I cloned this from a plant and wasn’t sure how to categorise it. Since it’s got flowers growing on it, I just left it there.

I edited the Sims 4 mesh quite a bit, making it wider and longer, so the columns each sit on a single tile (and have a proper footprint). It’s 7x5 tiles in area, and fits nicely over a driveway.

Because of the editing, the top corners have baked-in shadows that poke out a bit, but otherwise I think it looks great!

There are 12 colours for the pergola (the wood and the fabric drapery) and 3 for the flowers.

Master del Grill

I think this chiminea grill is really cute! I had to make the mesh a little bit taller to avoid floating hot dogs (funny though that was). It’s cloned from the basic community grill, but I edited the BCONs to give it a hunger rating of 4 to match the oven of the same price.

It has two subsets, with one colour for the metal and four for the terracotta.

4T2 Caribbean Collection

I recently managed to buy The Sims 4 base game for the princely sum of £2.99, so here are the first items I’m converting myself from scratch. These all came from the free Caribbean base game update.

This living chair has three different wood tones and seven cushion designs.

Reupholstered Mahogany Loveseat

This loveseat has three different wood tones and nine cushion designs.

Fire’s First Love Coffee Table

The coffee table has the same three wood tones as above and six designs that go under the clear glass surface. It has five slots for items, so there’s lots of room for your clutter.

Bembe Maraj’s Hand Woven Tapestry

This is a two-tile wall hanging and it’s quite large! When I extracted the textures, though, they were only 256px square, which made for a pixelated mess in game. Then my husband suggested I could use an AI upscaler. I used the Icons8 Upscaler and since they’re geometric patterns, it worked really well. Here’s a before and after:

There are three wooden frames and six different tapestries.

Retired Mangrove Palms

Finally, there’s this pretty potted palm. It has two subsets, with six different pots and just the one plant, but you could recolour the leaves if you wanted them a different shade.

4T2 Tiny Living study conversions

This is a set of objects for your studies/offices, converted from The Sims 4 Tiny Living Stuff for use in The Sims 2.

This is the first time I’ve made custom shadows for objects and I’m quite happy with how they turned out. At some point, I’ll go back over my previous work and add shadows to those, too.

Tiny Desk… for Tiny Living

This is cloned from HugeLunatic’s one-tile country desk. It has three slots: the standard one for homework or a computer, and two decorative ones on the back shelf for small objects. It comes with two subsets. There are 5 wood tones for the legs and 12 colours for the surface.

Lovely Dining Chair

The chair has two subsets, with 5 wood tones and 11 cushion designs (the other is the white in the preview above). It uses the same GUID as TNW’s chair so you can’t have both.

S1M0 - The Modern Desk Lamp

I shrank this lamp down significantly, so it’s now the same size as the base game lamp I cloned it from. It comes in 10 different colours. It uses the same GUID as TNW’s, so you can’t have both.

Simple and Clean Art

This picture comes with 16 different images and 5 different wooden frames, all mix-and-match-able. The leaves are my favourite by far. It uses the same GUID as TNW’s conversion, so you can’t have both.

This is a set of boho living room items from The Sims 4 Movie Hangout stuff, converted for use in The Sims 2.

Grandma’s Chair

The chair comes with eight different wood colours and ten different cushion fabrics. In Nutty’s conversion, the back cushion is attached to the wood. In mine they are separated. I used a new GUID so you can have both in your game.

The Long Stretch

The sofa comes with seven different wood colours and ten different cushion fabrics. Do they all match with the chair? Don’t be daft!

InCordelia-Haze’s conversion, the bottom cushion is attached to the wood. In mine they are separate. Again, I’ve used a new GUID so you can have both.

Triomphant Textiles

I’m going to be using these curtains everywhere. They have eighteen different fabrics and four different poles, as shown in the swatches below. The right version is slaved to the left version. I shrank the mesh just a little and shifted it down so it doesn’t get eaten by the ceiling.

Cantankerous Cackleberries

Sadepaivas converted these lanterns, but they were simply decorative. For my version, I shrank them down slightly and significantly shortened the drop. They’ll now hang just slightly above your Sims’ heads. There are three different metals (two of which are very similar), and ten different colours of glass, which become brighter when the lights are turned on.

Pick a Peck of Pennies

The two subsets for this object are the shelf-that-isn’t-a-shelf (nine colours) and the rope and plants together (nine colours). No idea why I took the preview picture of this one outside when the others are all indoors. ‍♀️

Tea and Tears

Saving the best for last, this is the cutest little plant set. There are ten colours for the pots and nine for the plants. The separated plants are slaved to the original, which means some of the recolours will look the same.

Steamy Times Shower

The shower comes in three different metals and has 9 different wood tones for the accents. It’s cloned from the University public shower, so that expansion pack is required.

Steamy Times Mirror

The mirror is slaved to the shower for the wood tones, so the shower is required for it to display properly. It’s slightly imperfect. Sometimes you’ll notice a very fine gap between the mirror and the frame, but mirrors are the worst thing I’ve ever had to work with and I’m just happy I got them to line up.

Modesty Matters Privacy Divider

The divider has ten different designs for the glass and six different metals for the fixings.

@tony-veis​‘s version is opaque, where mine has the frosted glass effect of the original Sims 4 object. I used a new GUID, so you can have both in your game.

Splunk Soap Products

There are seven different metals for the holder and nine colours for the bottles.

Bucket and Footstool

There are seven different colours for the bucket and seven for the stool. Mainly, these match up, but there is one that doesn’t.
