Today I want to share something with you that I have been working on for a while. My first default pet fur/eyes mod! For the eyes, I chose the Aloha Eyes by pyxiidis. The fur was based on Pet Fur Defaults by magical-girl-sandbox & I picked the red option by kahlenas pet fur/eyes mod here.
Here is a beautiful braided hairstyle from @arethabee for you. It comes in 2 versions, one with a bun and one with a ponytail. You can see a comparison picture below the cut. Have fun and please let me know if you have any issues with them.

Steffor’sKings And Queens Kitchen had a number of things I liked - chicken wire, fancy handles, those chalkboard shelves, the plate rack- so I decided to renovate it.
The counters 1 and 2 use the same textures, but did not want to be repository, and I didn’t want to remake them, so they are not. Sink is now repo to the stove. The inside counter shelf is cloned from Buggybooz Kitchen Basic and repo to a counter. I made a deco counter corner (also repo) to avoid counter separation. I separated the canisters, remade the wall plates (but could not improve the placement), and remade the plant so it would recolor. All textures and TXMTs have been changed. It’s quarter-tile enabled, some pieces were re-categorized or re-priced, and some were made shiftable.
Then I recolored it to make sure all the pieces recolored. So it comes in pink- except for the chair, which I don’t like very much. Deco shown in pics is not all included, so if you wanted something, but didn’t get it, please ask! Do let me know of any problems as I want to fix mistakes as soon as possible!
@ekrubynaffit was asking about recolors of this set @ SimPearls and I’ve done some to go with the Bohemia colors I use for my MonteVista-Veronaville, so I’m posting them here. There’s a bonus fence, too! Meshes not included- available HERE.
As I said in the edit to my previous post: when I was making recolors for this kitchen, the barstool and cabinet were not taking the recolors properly. It turns out the originals were never recolorable and I did not notice. *shame*
I have fixed this now, so please re-download the new folder, which also includes this blue recolor. Just bin the previous one.
Well, everything I could repo without re-mapping got done except the islands, which would not cooperate. So cabinets, wall oven, and cupboard (5 meshes) no longer need recolors.
Meshes had textures and TXMTs redone, were recategorized and quarter-tile enabled, etc. Fridge was FT/AL/MG already, but I fixed it so children can get bottles (because I do that to all fridges). Red recolor included in mesh file. Chairs, table, lamps, rug, deco not included.
These are both recolors I made for this house. The Chinese cabinet is by Sunair- from the BXY set at TSR and the plant is from Stylist Sims- Living Room 1. I’ve put them up for you HERE.
Nash Dressing Room Closet Units Repositoried and Recolored
I had an ask about these pieces by Nash emptied of deco and repositoried from FannySims @Sims2Artists. I thought I had done them sometime a while back, so I dug them out. The meshes have also been re-named according to my system and all of them are in General>Dresser. They have also been quartertile-enabled, had the TXMTs changed to my usual wood one and the handle texture has been changed. For some reason, Unit 4 did not want to be recolorable, so I re-made it.
These pieces were not really mapped to use wood grain or shading and, in my opinion, only look okay with all over wood grains like the Seasons pine. But they are really easy to recolor! Unfortunately, the handles were not mapped to a separate subset, so they can’t be recolored separately. I’ve recolored them in the pretty Yeti palette by @shastakiss.
DGandy’s Charmed Hall Mirror and Side Table Recolored
TeenInVa left a reply @Sims2Artists about recolors for these meshes from the long-gone but much-missed (by me) SimsFashionBarn. I’ve done them in bright white, FT classic white, and @shastakiss light wood. Meshes are included for your convenience but, as always, I’ve renamed, quarter-tile enabled, etc. them. If you have the originals, these recolors will work with them.

I love the windows in this file, however the country windows 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 have different textures than the others, it’s like the windows of the windows are dented. Can someone please, if possible, modify them so that the textures are similar to other windows? Thanks!
I had done some work with this set a while back, so I dug them out of my files to look at. The problem occurs because the windows have both screens and glass. Where those textures (both set to ‘blend’) overlapped, there was distortion, causing the problem Fanny mentioned in her request. I fixed this with a texture and TXMT change. Since I only use beds with Maxis bedding, I’ve changed the meshes so they use it. Kestrelteens said it would be fine if I shared them, so if anyone else would like to have them, they are here:
I thought I saw a request for these pieces emptied of deco somewhere, but I can’t find the request now. I thought I had done that to these meshes sometime a while back, so I dug them out. I had removed the deco and made it as separate pieces, but I decided to re-clone them as paintings so they shift and don’t snap to slots. The meshes have also been re-named according to my system and the armoires and armoire deco are in General>Dresser and the shelf is in Surfaces>Shelf. The end table is in Surfaces>Endtable, although it’s a little too tall for an end table.
Recolorists- the glass in Armoire2 is now recolorable (that’s the reason I originally removed the deco; I wanted to make recolors with curtains behind the glass, or chicken wire, lattice, etc.). These pieces were not mapped to use wood grain or shading and I couldn’t make it look good before repo. I’m sure it would look worse now!
The folder contains separate zips with the meshes and recolors for all these items- as usual, the meshes have probably been altered somewhat from the originals, but the recolors will work with the originals if you already have them.
The books are Mira’s Nolan Books 4, but since I only use Simlish in my game they are a texture replacement and not a recolor.
The paintings are one mesh- Shoukeir’s Eckhard Paintings from Sims2Play, my recolor for this set with art by Paul Brent.
The clock is by Adele- Faux Parisian Wall Clock; this is the mesh color.
The plant is the 4esf Cottage 1 Fern, my aurora recolor.
