okay but like??? what if in the last book of the Broken Code instead of Bristlefrost sacrificing herself, as she was coming to rescue Shadowsight, she called out his name and he realized she was coming to risk her life to save him and he just had a moment of “I’m not letting this guy hurt anyone anymore” so he snapped out of his unconsciousness and shoved Ashfur, not on guard as he thinks Shadowsight is completely out of it with no chance of coming back, into the Dark Forest water and killed him??? anyways here’s a shitty comic showing that

I just 100% feel like Shadowsight deserved to be the one to kill Ashfur after the shit he put him through so,
