Charles Durning as Earl Mulcahaney in Prime Target (1989).
An OK “TV Movie of the Week” with Durning’s role basically a glorified cameo, but it’s always nice seeing him pop up under any circumstances. Charles Durning plays a retired ex-cop, Kelly’s dad, very pleasantly, Irish accent and all. He’s always a treat to watch and always likable, even when he’s doing heavies.
So yesterday, I was showing my daughter a program on the iPad-it’s functionality etc- that became this, hehe. Love the 80’s. . Didn’t plan on it, but she kinda looks like Alicia Keys, or is it just me?
So a few days ago, I posted a Venom head shot, just to commemorate the film coming out soon. So time that day, I was asked if it could be colored by the immensely talented @parisalleyne. So of course I said heck yeah! He hit me this morning with this!!! Mind officially blown! Wow! Such an honor when an artist has his work made to shine even brighter by a skilled pro like this! Thanks man! You are amazing bro!!
Art Of The Day: So, took a little 30min break and did this guy, in honor of the next chapter of the game that hits Friday! Sooooo can’t wait! Anyway, enjoy. Back to work I go
A lot of things in the works, that I’ll post eventually. Till then, I’ll just randomly post these quick warmup(practice) piece done using Procreate. Took a little different style approach for this. As I get use to coloring more, this tool to me, seems to be the most fluid. Love everything about it.
Anyway enjoy. As for me, got pages to do.

So, planned on posting art everyday this year, hehe, buuuut, demands on work have decided otherwise. So, I’ll post as I can. Anyway, been messing with Procreate a lot! Think im loving it even better the clip for the iPad! did this yesterday between work. don’t fancy myself as a colorist, but I plan to fit more in as time permits. Anywho, enjoy. #warmupdrawing #artofcdw #drawing #digitalpenciling #mainstreamcomics #digitalpencils #digitalinking #artist #comicbooks #comicart #comicsillustration #arts_gallery #comicillustration #conceptart #artistic_nation #arts_gallery #howtodrawcomics #art #drawing #action #fantasyart #fantasyillustration #conceptart
Felt a little dry a-little dry art wise. Not feeling 100%. But must create. So decided to draw one of my sson’s STA WARS inspired characters. First pic digi-painted on the iPad using Procreate. Def plan to mess with it even more. Anyway, enjoy. Off to, you guessed it, to CREATE!
Had to Update the image with this one. Sorry about that folks ;)
So, I can finally post this pic. Had the opportunity to illustrate this cool character - Pariotika! Check out the Kickstarter created by Ron Zabala and Mount Olympus Comics, - Colors by the amazing John Law. It launches this Friday. :)
Amongst the many in progress works in involved with, hehe, here’s one I can check off the list. Had the honor to do 2fun things combined into one; a Niobe fan art(created by Stranger Comics) and a Black Panther homage tribute(reproducing his first appearance in Fantastic Four).
below is the information you can use to purchase one or both covers.
Thanks again #StrangerComics for an awesome opportunity.

Been resting most of the day. Not I’ll just catching up on sleep, hehe. Anyway, keeping with Feb being BH Month, as others have I think, planning to do a superhero of color for the whole month. Second on deck, Kevin Grevioux’s creation for Marvel - The Blue Marvel.
So, over the last week er so, I ’ve been trying to get this technology working (new tools and what not), which has slowed up the art. I recently acquired a device that would allow me to be mobile. Didn’t realize how detailed I’d need to be to ensure once I am out of the office, the work flow is seamless. Well, finally got it dialed in(for the most part)and can get back to creating. It being Feb-Black History Month, figured I lead off the art with this young lady: Milestone’s (my reimagined) Rocket!
