If I love something dearly then at some point they will be crossed over with either Hades & Persephone, or Green Lantern. Sometimes both.

I had so much fun with this and tried to think of what corp each character would fit best with. Corps type/Emotion correlation/details under cut.

Chris Miller: Green Lantern (Willpower)
Wanted to do kind of a sleek armor look mixing a bit of the armor I gave him in the chibi comic here and Kyle Rayner’s gauntlets.
Tina Chen: Star Sapphire (Love)
I know orange isn’t usually in the star sapphire’s outfit, but there was no way I could leave out the lesbian flag colors for Tina’s outfit!
Valerie Morales Chen: Blue Lantern (Hope)
Valerie embodying hope was personal to me, because I did not expect to see her and Tina together. I thought we were gonna get one queer couple in the story, and if anyone else wasn’t straight, it’d only be mentioned in passing. I didn’t expect to see Valerie show up, and have it confirmed that not only were there other queer characters, but those other characters were so happy too. Seeing Val show up how she did, her relationship with Tina being so loving, fun, comfortable, and not batting an eye at anyone knowing, filled my sapphic heart with so much hope for the future.
Bonus: Tina and Valerie’s pose is based on the original sapphic space power couple Sailor Uranus/Sailor Neptune
Nines: Sinestro Corps (Fear)
Felt like Nines would initially keep the standard uniform look. He might eventually begin to change parts of it, but starting out, I thought he’d stick with the uniform like he stuck his initial Cyberlife clothes.
Gavin Reed: Red Lantern (Rage)
Wanted to include Gavin’s trademark jacket.
Bonus Dex-Starr because he’s the best evil kitty and would absolutely latch onto Gavin if they met.
Ada: Indigo Tribe (Compassion)
The Indigo Tribe is usually made up of reformed criminals. I based her outfit a bit on depictions of Queen Boudica and clothing worn by the Celtic and Gaelic tribes pre-Roman invasion.
Lazzo: Agent Orange (Avarice)
Lazzo was the hardest one to place, but ultimately I went with Agent Orange because usually whoever winds up possessing the orange lantern initially does so by mistake. I could see Lazzo accidentally doing that. Now all the boxes belong to him!

Ada really intrigues me both as a character and antagonist. Played around with portrait styles and mixing traditional/digital techniques.

Done for DE Artfest. The prompt was Alternate Ending.
What if they hadn’t gotten there in time to stop Ada? How much harder would the fight have been? Would they have been able to walk away at all?
