Didn’t think that it’ll be seen so I’d like to renew my thanks to Octopunk Media’s whole team! You did a wonderful job full of awesome representation! It gives me hope as a future prop/set maker who wants to help spread inclusiveness. To see that it is possible for a reasonnably small team to tell such stories with that impact is uplifting! Thanks again and I can’t wait to follow your future projects :)
After discovering Octopunk Media’s awesome movie Detroit Evolution, I wanted to draw something as a tribute to the all (really talented) team!
But, of course, nothing went the way it was supposed to so here’s a 4 pages lil’ story of what could happen after the film. The two last pages will come up in about a week or two! It’s the first time I do such a thing so do not hesitate to leave some feedback, it’ll be welcome and appreciated!
(Lazzo’s shoes design has been inspired my an other artist on here but I can’t find their name, I’d like to credit them!)

Detroit Reawakening serves as a remake of our very first DBH film, Detroit Awakening, and the original DA will be deleted at the end of the day <3 Thank you for three years (right down to the day!) of support and enjoy the film.
When I discovered this film, I also discovered, what I didn’t know then, would be an amazing family to me today. This film, it’s community and the people behind it all have a special place in my heart.
Thank you @octopunkmedia for bringing these characters to life and for making this community such a welcoming environment, for helping me and so many others feel like they finally belong somewhere and feel valid.
